Corki nerfed because he is the only reliable source of magic damage...

Yes I know Corki is strong maybe way too strong. But if you think about it, Corki is probably the only real source of magic damage. Maw doesn't really counters him since he can do as much AD damage aswell as AP. Seeing people picking Zed vs Corki in LCS prove another point in which they really want to shutdown Corki. In a Meta where 2 item makes Mage completely useless, I think Corki should not be nerfed for the reason that a Team absolutly need some form of magic damage.

We like Corki's niche as the really high magic damage marksman. At present though he's got strong burst, strong AAs, good safety, good poke and a bit of utility. He's got a clear niche, but he's also just good at too many different things. We're looking to reduce one or two of those strengths, keep power concentrated. Reducing the power of his AAs is a likely direction for that.

so do you guys see corki as more of a midlane/caster staple then adc? Because this is pushing him away from the adc role and more of a poke down then burst from mid since you're higher level role. He's going to be pretty weak to function as a simple adc without that passive.

agree on this. if corky' s niche is constant magic damage, why nerf it? i mean, there are already a lot of poke mages, would not be better to nerf that?

We're happy seeing him flex between positions. We also think he's too strong as a duo laner though hence this nerf to him regardless of where/how he's being played.

It would seem rioters tend to use "new" view instead of "hot"

Because I spotted it while doing a quick skim through boards between meetings and it was possible to respond to it in the 2 minutes I had. It had a clear focus/question, didn't need 30 minutes + of writing to respond to reasonably and didn't start off with something that makes it hard to have a constructive discussion like 'When are we firing the balance team', 'Why are assassins still in the game', 'Riot when will you admit everything you've done in the past year has been a failure etc'.

upvote cuz i gotta respect your response. At the same time, the community is crying out for so many answers to what seem like more simple matters. Unfortunatly when it comes to league, almost every thread takes a large quantity of time to properly respond and have proper feedback, but after months of the community speaking out about things like solo queue, it very much feels to alot of the player base on the forums, that the real questions get neglected for seemingly arbitrary questions.

just my 2 cents

I don't know man, I check the Red Tracker almost every day and it seems like they're frequently (on a daily basis) responding to important questions and giving detailed explanations.

Alright, let me try this. Clear cut.

So, Galio's w feels awkward to use on an ally because of his already all in nature. What if his w did the opposite effect? So, all damage dealt to Galio would heal the ally. Thoughts?

P.s. I feel like it goes with his "guardian" fantasy

Another thing that I want to point out is Tanks champion that are buildingitem 3001 as a tool to reduce the enemie team magic damage aswell as helping them deal considerably high amount of damage because of their Base damage and AP ratio. Do you guys think Abyssal scepter should be looked at and probably reworked around in which it could be used efficiently on mage too? What you guys did to your PBE Abyssal scepter? Was it too strong or it didn't target the specific champions properly?

I wouldn't say EVERYTHING was a failure within the past 3 years... There were definitely some distinct successes and a few "meh" changes. It just feels like those are the minority, considering.

Need magic damage?

Just build this: item 3102 item 3742 item 3110 item 3068 item 3083 item 3065 item 3143 item 3075 item 3512

And play this: Malphite Nautilus TahmKench Blitzcrank Amumu DrMundo Gragas

Have you guys thought of increasing the width of his R

I know some of you may disagree with me, but honestly in most situations it's pretty hard to land it if you and the enemy is moving unless they are very close to you

And it got nerfed and it does not deal a lot of damage, and some people use it to poke and proc sheen

Please dont make his autos lower, I would rather see him bot lane. Mid corki is straight cancer and unfun, its completely impossible to play the game at all if he just wants to be an asshole and pick him into a melee mid
