The amount of angry posts toward the reworks, calling them Trash, gutted and other vile things is so not appropriate.

A ton of Assassin mains complain about their champions actually getting counterplay, becoming more healthy for the game and generally being more thematically unique. And still they complain, whine and get so very agressive and rude.

Can you guys just appreciate what you're given and provide real feedback? At least EVERY SINGLE ONE of these updates look great while stuff like the Juggernaut patch left some of the champs off worse than before and didn't get as much attention and love as the assassins.

So please, calm your tits and be objective and stop being so unconstructive

I think people are just really concerned because of Riot's track record with the Juggernaut's, Morde, ADCs, and the Mage updates all being a disaster for some of the champions. It makes them very nervous about having their champion screwed up similar to the other updates. I'm only really concerned about the changes to Akali's W. I'm pretty used to her getting nerfed all over the place at some point or another, but the W changes I don't agree with at all and I don't want them to hit live.

Akali's been one of my go-to champs since the ancient times when she required a special rune page to function. The longer cooldown on her E is just a return to form for me. Having a terrible pre-6 pane phase is also just expected for Akali, so if it's somehow even worse then at least I'm prepared to deal. And eating numbers nerfs is something any long time Akali player just knows to put up with.

I'm really hoping the W changes actually make all the nerfs worth it. But that passive change...I dunno. Looks like a colossal nerf from YouTube videos I've watched today.

Here's hoping Riot actually gives Akali some of her numbers back if she sucks too hard.

I don't blame them. Even if you need to channel for 1.5s a 10s spellshield is insane. Channel as soon as a fight breaks out and you have a free banshees, and if you have banshees and youmuu's on top of that you can block an extra spell AND auto attack. It's hilariously disgusting

Yeah, much this. I wouldn't say it myself because downvotes from MM fans but fck it - several last posts were just cringy and hypocritical.

Meddler mentoins some possible changes on Rylais they were just talking about. No final words, no iteration on PBE, nothing. And he went all tantrum and wrote 10 posts of what he'd call "objective criticism and sparkling reasonable discussion"". Then he wrote topic about how we should not get scared by pre-season changes? Iterations that are already at PBE? From soneone who wrote 10 posts about mentoining of possible change?

Now he dares to write that Assasin mains should not write hateposts? But rather give obejctive discussion? So assasin mains need MM certificate whether they are not writing hatepost but "objective criticism and sparkling reasonable discussion" like him. As long as you are not blessed by MM and his fanparade, it's just hatepost and you are biased. Not like him. Who would be happy If Morde used one ability from distance, permaslow you, get to you and delete you with two AAs from Q because Juggernaut.

Basically Shut up, it looks great because I think it does. It gets much love because I think it gives. Juggernauts were hurt because I think they were. My posts about how Juggernauts were insatisfying are valid, unbiased and "real feedback". Anyting you write is being ungrateful.

And the irony is I hate Assasins, I think this patch will give them tools they don't deserve (another AD+MR item with anti-disengage and anti-disrupt active fitting tanks more) and some of them will have broken aspect to them. Katarina is the only one looking pretty nerfed because she gets both delay and telegraph of her actions. But I am not sure If I'd like to write Assasins mains you are getting all the love possible while my Vel'Koz got only hurt (because he didn't).

Now that I got this off my chest, let the downvotes commence.

EDIT: Plus the argument here twice - he's Malicious Metal, of course he'll talk about Morde. So basically rename yourself DatAssAsin and you can rant as much as you want becuase suddenly you can... reasons... gravy... potato...

I don't even know what the big deal is, I'm hyped for for my babies Katarina Leblanc . Especially Kat's, I saw they added AD ratios to all her spells and I'm psyched to try item 3146 on her when she hits live.

Just her W and R, wasn't really anything significant aside from the latter though. With the rework, Q and E are getting AD ratios as well, while W's seems to be improved.

Q isn't really getting AD ratio. The dagger throw still has only AP ratio and the effect of picking dagger is still her old W and it already did scale with AD. It's just that now her W is basically on no CD since it is bound to picking up the dagger and it has slight delay, and the MS buff it gave if it struck enemy champ is now classic effect of new W. Other than that it's the same. And the base damage of the Dagger-pick scales with Level so it's more like champion passive feature rather than feature of Q and W. They should've just move the text into her Passive as paragraph "Sinister Strike" and then Q and W only mentoin that it triggers the effect.

That's why I didn't complain lol. Based off just the title he'd be a hypocrite but based on the body of it he makes a fair point. Morde's in a good state right now though. Maybe not the best but there's many champions that are worse. Many, many champions. Most of the threads I see are 'If this happens then X.' If Rylai's is changed, if keystones are changed, etc. Which is fair.

Just super annoying to see like four threads a day with is all. But, again, he does it in a constructive way at least.

As I understand it, that was in Season 3/4 before they started their current style of class reworks. Also, let me check your logic on that last comment:

Only two of the top ten are mid-lane mages, and none of the top five are. Looking at win rates, the first mage support you see is Vel'Koz at number six with Zilean at nine and Zyra at ten.

Now let us get to the meat of the issue: Rito's Class reworks.

Season 4 was when they did the Support Class rework that was widely held as BOTCHED, they then did the Juggernaut Class rework that was ALSO widely held as BOTCHED, and now comes the Assassin Class rework... Rito has fallen into a pattern with their Class reworks so you really can't hold it against the League Community to be anxious about the Assassin Class rework.

There's a difference between anxiety before something happens (which there was plenty of) and the bitching that sometimes happens afterwards, which is what this post is addressing.

There was absolutely no need for the personal attack in there, I understand that champion.gg is falliable but it's a lot more reliable than personal anecdotes when it comes to raw statistics.

Edit: Also, the support class rework was before the current process for class reworks was implemented and didn't follow the same guidelines as the current one, so it's a bit of a stretch to compare them.

as if anyone who's watched the patch notes since Season 4 can't possibly think logically about the number of nerfs a good majority of them have gotten over the last 2 years "in compensation for the more gold they can get." There are a number of systems and items put in place to cover for the nerfs and "QOL buffs" each set of champions have gotten but that doesn't mean the majority of the support champions are in a individually good spot.

The thing is, when riot reworks champions, they generally alienate the mains of those champions. Reasons:

they put many hours into learning and understanding that champion, and that all goes to waste
they put many games, playing that champions, they lost elo to learn how to play that champion competitively
if they get "nerfed" during the rework, they will be playing their main nerfed quite heavily
if they get "buffed" during the rework, they will be playing a fotm champion which will become a very contested pick and less likely for them to get a chance to play it

As an Original Fiora main. I despise rito and their reworks. Meanwhile, WW is still push 1 button and 100-0 someone if you got enough on-hit damage.

To everyone that down voted me, I hope your main gets reworked and turned into Teemo with a different name. If you main Teemo, then nothing happens to you. Have a nice day

They were forced to do the rework. Assassin's right now rely on snowballing, if they don't they are useless and that's one of the reasons they are not seen much in competitive games these days. Now what they did is basically reduce their burst, therefore allowing an adc survive if he gets jumped but also enabled the assassins to have an easier time escaping. So you just have to jump in twice to kill your target.

Regarding WW that 1 buttong is all he has really. His gameplay evolves around that and that's why he's perfect for new players and people who suck mechanically. You can actually focus on learning the game and macro properly rather than worry if you hit that skillshot or not.

As for counterplay all you have to do is get a QSS .. He can't 100-0 someone unless he's like 15/1 .. Then again any bruiser can 100-0 someone if he's 15/1.

To be honest it's kind of annoying that a few bad apples spoil the bunch. (Both in assassin mains and reworks.)

On reworks side, yeah, people are afraid of them because of reworks after a few of them hit the live servers. (I'm looking at you, Mordekaiser after rework.) Hell I was even afraid of how they were gonna give Fizz, but they actually made good decisions on most champions. (I love Talon's new kit, but his E does seem kind of overpowered.)

I'm an assassin main of sorts. Main my man Zed, mained Akali, Fizz, LeBlanc, and of course, Kat and Talon. I'm extremely excited for the reworks to be released on the preseason. The only thing I am pissed about is that my boy Talon is probably gonna be a perma ban/pick until he gets a nerf. Other than that, I'm even excited to learn how to play the new Katarina and the cool plays you can do with LeBlanc. They may not be perfect reworks, but Rito sure did a hell of a good job overall.

The Akali W change looks bad; the E nerf seems unnecessary, and a two auto passive on a champ with one of the clunkiest autos in the game (that if you look at your screen wrong you cancel) is also cause for concern.

Akali got Kalista'd for no reason. She is going to be the worst champion at her role (assassinating) for the entire game. Bad early game? Check (it got worse even). Bad mid game? Eh, you still have your gunblade power spike....but with the early game hit you basically have to blow your jungler to get it at a decent time due to them camping for you. Bad late game? Ratios, cds, and bases got destroyed for some reason.

It's like when they kept trying to make AP Ekko a thing by buffing his ratios but never giving AP Ekko a way to actually get AP. He had no wave clear or kill potential so he was always behind and couldn't snowball (thus tank top) and thus all the ratio buffs meant absolutely nothing. There's no way Akali is going to get enough AP to actually kill anyone and even IF she does she lost her free spell vamp so will just die in fights regardless (oh man that 190 heal will make up for 15% spell vamp).

Also the assassins who got reworked weren't even apart of the game besides leblanc and zed everyone else was super unviable at higher levels. Assassins are mostly pub stomping characters because most of you morons who go up against them over extend with less than 50% hp and get killed because of it lmfao
