League of Thunderlords vs League of Black Cleavers

Which is worse? Since i didn't play at Pre Season 3, but i've seen enough videos like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MKTHqiL96Q (If u are lazy and don't want to watch the video, just notice how talon @ 4:05 mindlessly engages 1v3 and comes out with a double). I already knew that AD Casters like could stack and deal near true damage to their enemies. Almost all AD Casters win rates near skyrocketted to 65+% win rate. So if there are any seasoned players, who could explain which meta is worse? Cause these metas are near identical, champions opt to take Thunderlords Decree mastery above all else, similiar to like how back in Preseason 3 even supports bought black cleavers. League of Cleavers was a millions time worse than league of Thunderlords.

Thunderlord's creates a more minor kind of blanket effect of increased damage for most champions, so it doesn't really severely effect relative balance of individual champions in the same way. It might be an important factor contributing to making the early game feel more snowbally, but overall it's not really comparable to the level of game warp we're talking about with Black Cleaver.

Best metas: item 3074 used to stack. item 3105 the aura meta, when all the aura items were actually good. item 3083 the warmog meta. With todays items, this could actually back with the current anti-heals we have. The jungle carry meta was pretty good too; feral flare was a great item.

Lol. When Feral Flare was meta it was fun to play, but only for the guy playing jungle. All the MasterYi Nocturne and Udyr would literally AFK farm. It wasn't that fun to play against too, because if your team screws up the advantage you created for them, they start to 1v4 and tear you a new one.

Ditto. Ive always wished there was a champion who could turn passive effects on items into AoE auras; making their build path limitless and potentially liquid regardless of actual scaling.

League of cleavers was not as bad as it looks like in that vid. Talon was 11/3/9 befor getting a second cleaver. Believe me, if your a that fed on talon, you can get a 1v3 doublekill even without blackcleaver stacking.

And i don't know where you got the 65% wonrate for ad-casters from, but it wasn't that hige. Ad-casters were clearly a bit overpowered with it, but not as extreme as you seem to think, and it was fixed rather soon.

The overabundance of damage and snowballing this preseason isn't tied to a class, it's omnipresent, and there is no sign for an end of that so far. It is also very differnt in the overall game impact. Cleaver made a class op, throwing the game off balance. Thunderlords(and many other changes) make the game overall more damagefocused and bursty, which translates to more snowballing and stompy games without hitting relative balance between champs that much.

TBH this preseason is worse and not because of thunderlords or anything like that. The community as a whole is just so damn whiney about everything now a days. Most of you complain more than my two year old nephew who has cancer and actually has a reason to whine and complain.

Season 1 and 2 were the best.
