Ranked Season is over, but shouldn't Flex Queue be giving LP?

That said, games played during the preseason will have some impact on where you place at the start of the season.

To me, this means that while the soft reset will happen, and our rank currently is the most prominent thing towards our new rank, my games in the Flex Queue before the 2017 season starts WILL MATTER (even if it's just a little). If it isn't giving me any LP for wins, how is it impacting my rank post-reset?

Is it solely based on MMR? I realize you don't want to give players the idea that getting to diamond when you were low plat is going to bring them up by 3 or 4 ranks in the new season, but since you explicitly stated that it affects our ranks after the reset, I feel like it should give us LP. That's what ranked is really all about - LP gain.

Hell, I wouldn't even care if you just stuck me with my Gold 3 for the reset and made the preseason games not matter in the slightest - but I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that I like to see myself climb, regardless of whether it matters.

Disclamer: I understand it is only for the preseason, but a month is a long time to go without LP gain for me.
