Last whisper items have "45% Bonus Armor Penetration"
Does this mean that this item causes 45% of all armor to be ignored?
Or does it mean that you get 45% MORE armor pen? Like if you have 10 you now have 14.5?

Total Armor - Base Armor = Bonus Armor
AhmCha1 votesOh ok, so of the 100 armor you get from Thornmail, 45 of it will be ignored but if you have 150 armor because of Thornmail and base armor, you'll still only ignore 45 of it right?

Mysticman891 votesYes if someone has 50 base armour, and the only ('bonus') armour they have is 100 from items (e.g. thornmail), then when attacking them with a LW item they'd effectively have 105 armour (i.e. ignoring 45).
