The biggest issue with ranked.

Hello, i'm just here to state a few points about the whole champion mastery can lead into a potential ranked feature in the future possibly. I feel like there's too many players who just play a champion for the first time in ranked, have 0 experience with them and end up feeding so bad, to where the game is a 4v6, half by he/she feeding so much and have no clue what they're doing. I recently encountered a jhin player who had 0 mastery points with the champion, and ended up getting their Vayne 20 or so kills. He continued to flame the bard because he ended up dying first blood as bard went to ward, note that the jhin's w accuracy was at LEAST under 30% and couldn't land a single shot of his ult to save his life. Anyways, enough of me rambling.

Here's how I personally believe what will fix this issue. I believe that a player should be at least level 4 mastery with so champion before taken them into ranked, that way they have an idea of what to build and some clue of how to play them/their play style. Not only will this make the ranked game more challenging, but less frustrating in the loading screen when you see that beautiful banner of someone's head, leading to more of a confidence boost and less of a tilting experience.

Here's a picture of the jhin's champion score. http://prntscr.com/bnc667

I recently started a second account which is at around level 10, and during the levelling process many of the queues are locked; they only become unlocked at various stages of the summoner's development.

Does it seem like a valuable addition to the game's community to extend that process to champion expertise? If so, then perhaps some sort of greyed-out "unavailable for ranked" indicator could be present during champion select.

For such a process to be efficient and not prone to unnecessary surprise, summoners should also have that information readily available to them before match-making, so they might adequately plan and practice.

The graying out option is a pretty good idea.
