i had an ezreal mute me at the start of the game because i took ignite over exhaust and he died level 1
then in post game chat after we lost he said "jeez bard, i've never been flamed by someone this hard"

And don't forget... 9 reports in a match and 1 report in a match count exactly the same. So there's no reason to bother with talking to the enemy team about what happened. It doesn't matter if they see it or know about it. Your report will carry the same weight as if all 5 of them reported with you. So if you have a teammate being toxic, report them and move on. There isn't anything in the rules against showing screenshots of their behavior as far as I know, but if you're asking for reports when you post them, that is actually against the ToS, and you might end up running into trouble there in the future.

Please don't name and shame. The in game report system sends a chat log to Riot to be checked by the automated system and/or manually reviewed by a Riot staff member. If you are unable to use the report (i.e., forgot to do so before leaving the post-match lobby), open a ticket with Riot Support and contact them about the matter.
Toxic player near the end of the game: "KYS 6 PERCENTAGES U NICER POOPLORD" And in post-game chat Toxic Player: "GG WP"

I had 2 separate games the other night where my whole team was using racist remarks and telling me to hang myself, I reported them and nothing happened to them. Next night had my adc call me a %%%got, reported it and nothing happened. I'm convinced reports do jack shit. The automatic feedback system should have easily picked that shit up from chat but nope.
i had a sona whos build was 
and would purposely get caught by the team. We called hero out for her trolling and she says "guy's im really trying, please don't flame" in all chat. Both teams called her out on her shit and trying to pull the victim card.
nope, the best thing is when you are always nice, and someone who is flaming/feeding/trolling types in all chat what you are "saying" in team chat. And even if you say "no im not saying that" they will just keep spamming it and you get reported. (Got a chat ban earlier this year from a 3 man doing it)

Just don't ask the other team for reports if they have no way of knowing which side is telling the truth.
That's a damn ruthless way of making sure they know, though.
