Literally every time my team's gotten cocky and started playing to farm / hit late game / scale, as opposed to leveraging that lead into a snowball / close out.

People act like throwing games is hard. It's not. In fact, I'd argue that most games down in bronze / silver / gold are thrown MULTIPLE times. It's generally not until plat where people start actually recognizing leads and using them to close out, and not until high diamond that they get kind of good at it.

I realize Imaqtpie isn't playing in silver, but that doesn't mean they can't lose a lead in the exact same way.

It happens. Unless they're constantly getting 10k+ gold leads and losing, there's no problem there.
