Zed Counterplay Suggestion(ult tweak)

I frequently use flash to completely avoid Zed's deathmark. He can't follow up unless he uses Living Shadow, and you can juke and avoid the living shadow if you're careful. I also frequently see other people trying to do the same thing as me. ...and then finding out that, similar to Vi's ult, it follows your flash and lands at the end.

Vi's ult stuns so it's easier there(skills like flash can be queued if you use it just before the end of CC). Zed ult should stop tracking someone 0.1-0.2 seconds before he finishes his dash, however. There's still plenty of play involved in juking the followup Living Shadow blink.

SUMMARY: Removing Zed's dash/blink tracking for the last split-second of his ult would make it easier to learn to fight him, while (I think) resulting in very little impact on professional play.

Sometimes it can be nice to deliberately drag Zed out of position by flashing away as he ults you. Perhaps flash into a waiting Soraka silence, then take him out?

Last split second, so you can still 'Maokai' Zed. If it stops tracking 0.2 seconds, you can still do that for the first 0.55 seconds.

That could be true if Zed didnt have a free out-of-jail button on his R.

It wont matter, he will go back to safety even if you waste you flash to bring him out of position.

Hence the mention of a particular CC that would stop him from jumping away quite so quickly.

Unless you are playing Soraka mid, I dont see how this is a viable strategy.

Zed wont all-in you with a Soraka near you.

Point and click CC is dead, or dying, thanks to Riot. Even Zed counters are being nerfed or reworked.

Zed isnt obnoxious in teamfights, he is obnoxious in laning phase.

Zed's ulti has plenty of counter play.. If he is going to get a nerf it should be to his lanning phase.

The amount of time some1 has to do something about zed ulti is still far more than vs sm1 like talon or leblanc.. You can instagib waaaaaaaaaaaaay easier on those 2 champs

My point is that people say ''just buy Zhonias to counter Zed!''. When that isnt counterplay. You cant outplay Zed with that kit, specially with his ultra-safe Ult. Le Blanc can still be outplayed by keeping track of her Distortion marks. Talon, on the other hand has to actually commit to kill you, he cant back off mid combo because he underestimated you damage or survivability. He dives in to kill, and can actually be killed. Aso both can be forced to stay on lane by pushing, as they use mana to waveclear. Also both lost their silences, and thus can be bursted back.

Zed just presses R again if he even faces a bit of danger while killing you, and he goes back to safety.

This guy's argument is Zed's deathmark not having counter play.. zeds ulti HAS counter play. Infact is has more counter play than the 2 champions I just listed. Sure he can say "oops i fkt up" and press R and quite possibly be safe. Just like leblanc's W BUT his damage isn't as instagibby as leblanc or Talon.. I can prove this in a custom if you wish.
