Laning and Jungling, two different games?

After several years of playing and getting better at the game, I've always felt like Jungling role is a bit off. Now, I don't know the solution, and am not asking the role be removed either, but I just feel the more I learn and better I get at the game, the more I realize just how different jungling is from laning. This isn't inherently bad, but I find it odd that 4 of 5 players play a somewhat similar game for the first 15 minutes while 1 player is playing a completely different game. It's kind of like the laners are playing shooting games while the Jungler is playing an RTS game. This large difference in playstyle makes it so people should have a primary role, and this itself isn't bad either, just odd. Having personally filled most of my time playing, Jungling is probably my uncomfortable role because it is so different from the other 4 roles.

Does anyone share this same opinion?

Often jungle does not matter at all, but a lot of time it is also the most important role.

That's why I hate laning and love jungling. I would stop playing lol if there were no jungle.

I main yi, so jungle is like a cookie clicker game to me, farm it up, upgrade your items for faster cookie collecting, get some time events going (Dragon, baron, rift, free ganks top) and then go back to farming, then, if you have enough cookies (More than everyone else) Just reset your counter by ending the game and starting a new one :D
