FFS people, stop not giving honor at the end of games!

When you don't give honor, you have a 100% chance to not get honor bonus. You're only hurting yourself in the long run.

I'm not gonna praise somebody on my team who doesn't deserve it just to maybe get a key fragment. I dunno, maybe I'm obsessed with integrity. XD

Some teams don't deserve it.

Key fragments mean nothing to me, so I'll be honest with my honors. Thanks.

To be blunt about the subject. I can only count on two hands the number of times I've honored people in a game where I've queued by myself (obviously when I queue with friends I will honor them). I would say I've played nearly 70 games in the new honor system and I can only recall honoring people nine or ten times in those games. Why would I honor so few people:

  • I don't honor people when we lose. Only exception was an adc I supported that played out of their mind but our top lane disconnected so I felt they really deserved it. Otherwise, you want to get honored then you have to win. In my last 70 games I've won just over half (maybe 37) so right away 33 games are out.

  • If you're toxic, I don't honor you. In those 70 games, at least 50 have had a toxic person on my team. Now that doesn't mean that someone else isn't deserving, but right away at least one person is out of the running for an honor immediately.

  • You need to be a good player. Feeding and getting carried isn't going to get you honored by me, sorry. You want the rewards you have to earn them. No second place or sympathy trophies given here.

  • Be positive, encouraging or at least helpful. The roaming mid laner or the jungler that actually ganks will be the ones likely to get them. If I support an adc that actually follows up on roots/stuns/snares/hooks, etc, then they get the honor.

  • If I like your summoner name then I'll honor you if you're not a jerk or didn't feed. :)

Personally I am opting out, so unless I play with a friend(s) I click skip every time. Because every time most players on my team have performed multiple bannable offenses including racism and hate speech.

then how about you become a great team player so people can honor you.

lel. Games still give honor. The "bonus" is very small so it's really not hurting people when they when don't have a team that fully honors everyone.

I honestly do not get people who are not honoring. I mean they are literally shooting themself in the foot with a bb gun, like it doesn't actually harm them but it kinda stings. I mean I always honor because 1. the honor boost if everyone honors 2. why not give someone honor if you can just for free 3. THE FUCKING HONORING BUTTONS ARE WAY BIGGER AND EASIER TO CLICK.

For me lately, I think I've hit the sweet spot in my elo because I actually like playing with the people in my elo and almost every game, I actually believe someone should get honor. Sometimes I don't give honor but that's pretty rare.

It's totally up to the individual whether he believes one of his teammates deserve a nod from him. It's completely optional for a reason. Sometimes there are games where honors should not be handed out, if you know what I mean.
