here's the idea, its aram, it's a ranked thing, you set up your pool of about 20-30 champions, the free rotation champs would not be a part of this.
then you queue up and can't reroll, but you can trade and otherwise have a better selection of champions: this would be an alternative to aram not a replacement, and would be more 'serious'
Doge20201 votesARAM means that your champ is randomly assigned. So take out the random part out and all you have is AM, All Mid. That would be a good idea but you are kinda killing the idea of ARAM then.
Hammermancer1 votesNo it's still random within the champion pool, but you pick that pool with a minimum threshhold (30 or 40) so you don't wind up getting the champs you hate but you still don't have direct control over what you land, so you still have to be adaptable but again you dont wind up with being totally useless level of champs

Yeah they would have to set a large threshold of the number of champions in the pool, otherwise people can choose a very small pool in order to get a a higher chance to get an op champ easier.
