New Draven Q as on PBE

Will actually do more damage with full build than old Q. Here is the math, it's actually entirely possible for him to even have more AD than these calculations were done on. It's a early game nerf and extreme (30-35min) late game buff.

So let's say with a build that gives him 400 AD.

Anything over his base level 18 damage is Bonus AD including runes and masteries * Base AD at 18 is 105*

New Draven Q: 50 flat damage at max rank + 105% Bonus AD, so 400-105 = 295. 105% of 295 = 309.75

309.75 + 50 = 359.75.

Old Draven Q: 85% of Total AD so 85% of 400 is 340.

Why did they change it?

Idk. A fail buff or nerf?

Either one its not significant, maybe 10-20 ad worth of damage.

Not sure. It mainly impacts his early game, giving him slightly more damage early game, a little less mid-game, and a tiny bit more late game.

They should revert it so tank Draven can rise to power >:)

they made it because a draven skin is coming soon so they decided to buff him/act like they did so people start playing him and buy the new skin. they've been doing that for a while now with the latest example being Garen whom they buffed because of the new skin :)

It makes him snowball pretty hard now. The difference around 1-3 is about 7-9 damage depending on your runes/masteries.

In terms of scaling, all you have to do is get 15 BAD for every level after 3 to remain at the same power level as before. That's not particularly difficult considering AD items are slow efficient and Red Drake is a thing. item 3031 item 3072 item 3812 done
