Should we have an AD champ that deals magic damage?

I think that part of the balance is that it would be hard to buy the proper magic penetration items (a con), but the pro of that is that magic resistance is harder to come by, and after your main burst you still have autoattacks to finish off an enemy, so you'll be dealing both magic and physical damage.

His spells scale AP so if he builds full AD his spells suck.

I mean a champ with AD scaling spells dealing magic damage and builds AD.

he converts ad into ap

It's still different from what I'm talking about, having spells that scale off of AD but deal magic damage.

I'm talking about something like

"Champ tosses a spear that deals 180 + 100% AD magic damage"

shyvana's w does magic damage but scales with bonus ad

Every spell but his W (and even that if he has the package) scale off of his AD.

Setting aside Corki who's been posted here seven times by now, I think the reason this isn't more common is because a) hybrid damage is hard to itemize against and b) it runs the risk of lacking clarity for newer players when you're building AD but inflicting mostly magic damage.
