I play solo que and hate playing with premades.

They are generally toxic, rude, spam chat and pile on if a player makes mistakes. They come into the que 9 times out 10 and expect to run the game.

Riot as a solo que player could we get an option to not be matched with premades? It's something that would make solo queing more fun and enjoyable and allow for people to feel more safe when playing alone.

Inb4 people tell me to just mute people: its harder when extremely toxic parties go out of their way to make my game hard. Ex/ I jungled, a premade group refused to leash then went on to steal jungle mobs even after I asked them to stop. This really shouldn't be a play style that is encouraged or allowed. Intentionally ruining another player on your teams game is as toxic as it gets.

What do the boards think? If you disagree why? I'd prefer conversation over mindless up and downvotes.

dude i agree with you...ive run into premades who come into my solo queue and aggressively ask for duo bot and end up feeding and blaming others. i mean it cant be helped but honestly it is very annoying to deal with these premade groups who come in and will double up on anyone to report them if you say one comment towards their play style or try to help them. i agree fully on what youre saying because 9 times out of 10...they are bad and will play negatively...be toxic..feed...all of the above. i have had several occasions where it was successful but i have once advice to give. we always can focus on how we better ourselves and if we cant carry with another team member then on to the next game. bad premades are the same as having bad team members in general. its frustrating i know but what can we do and what can riot possibly do too? i know we like to complain to them about these things but its a part of the process my friend. over the past couple of months i have complained over things that cannot be helped and some couldve but riot did nothing regardless. you have to focus on just getting better and remembering...not all games will be perfect with wins. if that were the case riot would never need a support function.

This has been discussed a thousand times and since Riot hasn't ever addressed it as a "problem" the general outcome is you get as many toxic premades as you do constructive premades.

You also get matched up against better opponents, I think

I hate them just as much for the reasons you listed. Premades can really ruin games if they turn on someone, specially if you're jungling.

I bet it isn't really the case. I guarantee there are times you are with a duo that you never realize it because they don't do all these negative things. They just play the game normal. I think there is a name for this phenomenon, recognition bias. Basically the only time you 'see' a duo queue is when they are being toxic. The good ones go unnoticed because they don't bring attention to the fact that they are a duo.

most games have a premade I almost never notice them. But the bad ones are bad.

Honestly I think you're just getting the bad luck of being grouped in with assholes.
