Imagine a longer ranged Kalista.

The more feathers you throw, the more damage they deal with they're pulled back.

I think the bigger issue is Rakan. I haven't seen anyone play him decently except me so far, and I KNOW I'm not even playing him well because I've played him twice.

They don't know how to pressure, bait, time W, engage, or anything.

Like, its GLARINGLY bad in most cases.

Agreed. After having to play him against Thresh though, I think I've got enough of him down to be relatively decent with him. At least enough to protect an ADC, time my W so that I don't get knocked out of it, and counterengage. He seems like he doesn't have a ton of pressure when laning though. Just his Q and the threat of him using his W.

I love the duo concept, love the mushy lines, hate that he is so different from my normal support mains (leo and ali) i like playing tanks. Its why im not a big fan of mid and adc. But his super high mobility is just damn fun. I do need plenty of practice on him though

TBH, building Rakan tank is the way to go. Grab some AP from runes and go defensive via masteries for the most part. W/R's risks aren't worth the extra scaling via ap itemization.

any recommendations for tank build? Im thinking eyes of watchers, ardent censor for the as boost to allies since i can easily hit 3 or 4 people quickly. Eye gives 500 health, good start, but after i hit 4 items, watches, censor, redemption and boots, wasnt sure what to build, Sunfire doesnt work cause he isnt in range very much, he dashes all around the map. Spirit visage help keep himself healthy, banshie for if i fight lots of cc.

Thats really of topic starting my own thread at this point. Any ways, Xayah. She is similar to kalista, but the biggest thing is set up. you choose wear to leave her feathers behind instead of just leaving them in who you hit. Also, might be mistaken, but her feathers dont deal more damage when you call back more, flat damage per feather.

Then whatever you need. This can be more defense, more CDR, or more AP for the sake of his pretty good ratios. HP/AP items recommended if you get any at all.

Abyssal is even an option if nobody on your team is grabbing it and you have an AP threat.

There's no fall-off or multiplicative scaling for multiple feathers. Each does flat damage.

But yeah, pretty much all there is to Xayah. All about your positioning relative to feathers and just dpsing otherwise. Your kit only helps you set up feathers. Outside of that, just keeping track of the root and her iframe on R.
