Ranked Servers
It's time that those who take the game seriously find an environment for the game that actually suits their purposes.
Let's start off with this question. How many of you either think your allies don't take the game serious enough or take it too seriously? How many of you find it hard to practice a new champ anywhere outside of ranked? How many players have a hard time playing their matches in general because they are stuck either explaining the basics like they are a tutorial or ripping out their hair because of allies?
I understand that league of legends is a video game. Video games are made to have fun. The issue is that many people don't understand that because it's a competitive game that people want to compete. That is how they would have fun on the competitive game. This isn't minecraft. Building a house isn't how you take advantage of the tools in the game. It takes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much effort to get everyone I play with each match up to date with what are the basics. This shouldn't happen in gold or silver. Ranked play is supposed to be serious competition. The follow up is these players may not be to blame, there is no way to practice any serious competition, at least not on the NA server.
So I was thinking... why don't you separate those who want to play serious from those who want to play for fun? First reason behind this is that the majority of players who play league are lower than gold, most likely even below silver or unranked. Yes they deserve to have fun but if my purpose is competition and trying my hardest I don't want to be weighed down either or explain common concepts.
All the ques can remain for both servers but one should be labeled ranked and the other shouldn't be. Then the people who play ranked will be separate on either server. The for 'fun' ranked and ranked ranks should be both considered competitive but the environment would be different allowing actual practice and strategy to be brought back to the rift.
Some people favor the idea of 'prisoner's island' and this is not that thus Riot shouldn't be against it. It's more like the island of people who give a damn about the game.
