The most reasonable solution to autofill

It's fair to say that autofill is a huge topic on the boards, people complaining about it and some defending it. I personally don't mind the concept, however it's easy to see the frustration it causes.

The issue is simply that autofill is a forced solution to a situational problem.

Forced solution: Forcing people into roles they wouldn't normally play to lower queue times.

Situational problem: Long queue times due to a lack of people wanting to support.

The reason this problem is situational is because some players wouldn't mind the longer queues if their main was guaranteed.

The solution seems pretty easy, give us the option to enable or disable autofill. If someone (like myself) would rather get into games faster, let me keep it enabled. If someone wants mid/top and ONLY that, allow them to endure longer queue times and have their desired role.

This solves the whole situation.

Players get their roles more often for better balanced games.

Less people getting forced into things and feeding because of a lack of knowledge.

An overall happier playerbase with ranked games that are actually competitive.

And finally, an end to all the complaining.
