Maybe their changes will be enough to make tank ekko unviable.
Kivolan4 votesStill doesn't fix his ridiculous utility. He's more useful for his plethora of slows and stun to help out the rest of his team rather than his damage, hence why everyone still builds tank no matter how many times they nerf him.

I'm sorry if he makes jungling as Evelynn a pain, but she isn't in the best spot to begin with. She is getting looked at in the assassin update, so be happy for that.

My stats show that I destroy Ekko players quite consistently. If you wanted to talk Evelynn counters, maybe pick one that isn't devoured by Evelynn (Ex: Jax).... not that I'd expect a bronze to understand....
Ekko needs nerfs, not buffs.

There is no appreciable difference between Silver and Bronze. I have no compunction to call them the same.
Having played at all brackets, the difference between bronze and silver is the difference between drinking 500 shots of vodka and drinking 501.

Believe it or not, I am proud of my accomplishment, I haven't played that long and I'm only getting better.
Anyway, if you have played at all brackets then wouldn't your perspective of individual differences shrink as your overall perspective of all brackets gets bigger?
And back to the original point of this post, this is a nerf. Just because you don't want to count this as a nerf doesn't mean it isn't.

She's been at 49.X% for a very long time.
She oscilates between 48-51% which is a healthy range for a 4-5% pick rate champ. For comparison, Lee and Thresh have often dipped below 45% across several patches and yet competent players would hardly call them "Underpowered".

I never once mentioned your rank until you brought up my rank. You only brought up my profile to point out my rank. And while you basically used my rank to disregard my statements and belittle me, I used your rank as a compliment, knowing that off meta picks were harder to climb with.
I understand a lot more than you give me credit for. Trust me, I know better than to try to be "nice" around you. Before you mention my previous comments I assure you that I am being "nice" in comparison to how many would respond to your statements.
So how about instead of belittling me and saying things like "you wouldn't expect a bronze to understand", why don't you act like the professor you claim you are and actually teach. Give useful advice instead of putting people down. Tell people what specific nerfs you think Ekko needs, not just say he needs nerfs. Anybody can say that.
I am actively interested in climbing and I will get better at this game. But I will never think for a second that I'm better than the people in Bronze. My skill is higher but that doesn't make me a better person. And while you think you are better than I am becuase you throw around the rank card, let me just remind you that you were not always where you are now.

What's your point? you pulled stats first and then cried foul when I did it right back. We have a word for people like you but I'm afraid it's not a nice word and I do not want to tempt the wrath of the moderation.
It's not complicated, do not pull stats unless you are ok with people doing the same to you. No one appreciates having another pull stats the way you did, but it's especially egregious when you try to pretend it's only okay when you do it.

LankPants1 votesTank Ekko will still have disgusting damage with way too much utility and he'll still be far too hard to kill. There's no way these changes will make tank Ekko unviable, they probably won't even move him out of the top tier unless Riot stacks on more because they're just very insubstantial. The AD change will probably have a larger effect than the ult nerfs since they hurt his ability to build Triforce but I doubt it will be enough.
My money's on that these changes do literally nothing to effect tank Ekko. He's still going to be the top top laner and he's still going to build Tri into tank. If Riot really wants to hurt this build they need to hit the ever-living shit out of his AD growth, and I mean into the ground. They need to put his base AD into a place where building Tri is just bad.

i really dont like how for every tank ekko nerf, ap ekko gets double the powerbudget in buffs
pretty soon we end up with tank ekko unviable but hes still goign to be permabanned ebcause ap ekko will be sooooooo busted
