@Anyone who can help! What the heck do you need to do to get an S on a support?!

I seriously don't know how much more I could have done in this match...

I gave all the gold to the ADC, allowing them to snowball out of control, I roamed into mid lane a bunch. I bought pinks, destroyed a ton of wards. We got our towers. I was in 67.85% of the kills They surrendered.

It was a perfect game, with no deaths and all the gold from kills going to the carries.

And I got an A+

Why? What the heck do I need to do to get an S on a support? Am I being rated because of farm? Am I being rated because I have no kills? Am I being rated because of how long the game takes?! Am I being rated because of the gold? Seriously, what on earth am I supposed to do? I did absolutely everything that a support is supposed to do. Keep ADC alive, get ADC kills, roam to help midlane, peel, engage, disengage, ward.

I understand it's not supposed to be easy to get an S. But like.... seriously. What am I supposed to do?

Please, can someone from Riot please give a 100% detailed explanation on what is required to get an S - S+?

Because I'm at my item 3091 and I have no idea what else I need to do. :(

If anyone has any ideas, please tell me. Anyone help me out :(

I feel your frustration. I went 6-2-25 on Thresh a while back and got an A. I have no idea how you're supposed to get an S if you support. Any clarification would be great.

19 assists and zero kills? 68% kill participation? That is wimpy. YOU are wimpy.

To get an S rank as the support, you need to be the hardest mother fucker on the team. It is NOT easy. Being the support is one of the hardest roles in the whole game, period, much less to get an S-rank, because so few people play it, and those that do have gone through the shit, and they are the standard you are competing against.

There is no real advice I can give you other than to get good. REALLY good. As in perform the role of multiple champions. As in fight with the ferocity of a berserker. As in 1v1 a fed Zed as the support and win. CONSISTENTLY.

I get you. As a Lulu main, I get it. I'm level 6 with her right now and I'm trying desperately to get that final token. I managed to just BARELY get the two that I have and frankly I just haven't been lucky. And it's not like I haven't been doing well with her ether. I just don't think the game rates you on things like, giving your ADC 50% attack speed so that they tear a hole through the enemy team.

Which is really really annoying :/ Normally on Lulu (now that she got her whimsy buffed) I max W then E, then Q. If my ADC looks like they're about to snowball, I max whimsy, if not, I max Help Pix. It looks like I didn't do anything. But I did. I did a lot. I'm not building the man mode, full AP, eat everyone build. I usually go with Ardent, maybe Athenes's, Locket, sometimes Frozen Heart. And it's just annoying that even if I'm doing stuff like, buffing the ADC, or buffing anyone. Or making clutch plays to save someone at the last second, all that seems to be taken into consideration is the KDA :(

I max out Q, then W and E in that order. Poke the hell out of the enemy and never give them even a microsecond of peace. The Q for damage, lane pushing (when it's time) and crowd slows. W for the speed boost and attack speed bonus (VERY useful on attack speed-based champions). Do NOT level up E for the shield. Level it up for the extended damage range when combined with your Q and the passive you can lend to an ally (the aforementioned attack speed champions). It lasts for the whole duration of the buff, even if the shield is gone.

Get an Unholy Grail. The damage from your Q will empower the passive, which will heal your allies when you shield them. The shield part of her shield is rendered redundant. ARE YOU POKING?!

Get some actual items. Based on your build in this game, you build a bunch of empty stat items. Get rid of the boots of mobility and invest in something stronger, like Swiftness or Lucidity. Lulu is fast enough with speed boosts and cooldowns aplenty.

Ability power; you should have it. Lots of it. Get an Archangel's Staff. All of Lulu's skills, including her passive, scale off AP. ALL OF THEM. Building AP empowers your allies' damage and performance when you buff them, and the longer your resources can last even under a stress test, the better.

Drop that Shuriman bauble vendor trash bullshit and get a real weapon. Turn it into an eyeball. See everything, even what you can't. ESPECIALLY what you can't.

Omg, I got you man, yesterday my brother wanted to try and get a s- or higher with thresh. He decided to play him top lane full ad, went 6/8/2 and got a s-. Play lulu top and here is your token. Np!

Wards. I had similar KDAs in my support games, but started getting S and S+ when i would place 30-40 wards per game, a few pinks, and cleared as many as i could :) good luck!

Did you take any turrets? dragons? I don't think Rito boosts your grade for giving cs to your adc. It could also be from being a surrendered game.. I don't think Rito takes that into account (very well) either.

NOT happening. They keep it a secret on purpose.

You probably need to participate in more objectives (you will see your icon if you participated in the tower/dragon/baron kill). Take CS that others miss (IT WILL HAPPEN), and yes, get some kills, too. You might need to do more damage to champions, also. That's the only way to stand out compared to other support Lulu players.

A+ means you were close!

I've gotten multiple S's on my support champions. I'm level 6 with Morgana and Braum. Basically, you need to ward EVERYWHERE. Clear wards with red trinket, protect your ADC and team with your life, give them gold and kills of course, partake in dragon and baron kills, and you actually need some kills yourself. Also, the time comes into factor too. The enemy surrendered at 26 minutes, that's a pretty short game. You need it to be longer so you get the best grade for your time.

I've gone 0-3-34 with Braum and got an S, so it is possible to get an S without kills. But a few wouldn't hurt. I know it's hard but if you main support like me, you get used to how you have to play to get that rating.
