Inspiration runes = Trash

Magical footwear was the only decent rune and that was nerfed into a more snowball heavy rune than it was before. Let's look at the runes.

Futures market: Can loan (not even on your first buy, but after 2 minutes) 150 gold or so, upgrading to about 300-350 after 30 minutes compared to triumph, which gives 20 gold per kill/assist (easily 300 gold) + 12% missing health to save you or give sustain. Yeah and don't forget using debt costs 50 gold a use.

biscuits: nerfed into trash, if you think they're still good you're delusional

minion dematerializer: nerfed from 6 to 3, it's trash

Stopwatch: very niche, situational, and the item itself is bullshit, legit useless vs most champs, overpowered vs select few

hexflash: Are you trolling?

Cosmic insight/Time warptonic/ approach velocity: The only good runes in the entire tree and they're all on the same rune set so you can't actually use them in combination with each other.

The keystones

Unsealed spellbook: Enjoy the loss scrub Kleptomancy: Are you ezreal? Viktor? Some bullshit ranged top laner? Then you're trolling hard Glacial augment: Are you an ap champion building very specific items to abuse this? There are still better options but it's viable otherwise you're trolling

Like riot, cmon man! This spell tree could be completely removed from the game and almost nobody would notice, and if they did they would find a replacement in seconds

all the options on inspiration are good they just need you to know why they're good before you use them.

1.Watch a couple pro games and count inspiration secondaries and primaries.

2.Realise you are calling pro players trolls.

3.Reevaluate.

Edit: For instance in the first game of LPL finals 6 players had secondary inspiration. I bet you are better than all those in understanding the game?

No wonder you lost that game as Nasus if you think inspiration is bad.

Spellbook is immense versatility. Like do you realize just how much Nasus wants to be able to have Ghost, TP, and Flash? Spellbook is how you actually get all of those. Getting to use Clarity in lane is immense as well, since it's a lot more sustain and poke before you have to back. Then you can have cleanse, or exhaust, or ignite. Most importantly, it lets you have a second smite, which is absolutely massive for baron and dragon fights, especially since it's on a champion that's hard as hell to kill.

Biscuits are great as hell as well. Again, a lot more time in lane.

And for the ones that Nasus shouldn't always be using that you still dissed:

Market - Strong on a lot of supports, since their builds don't cost that much and it can give you other components you'd need much faster.

Dematerializer - Not sure on this one, but it used to be pretty important for a few champions, since it'd affect how fast it took for them to be able to clear the wave in one spell. Still probably okay as a crutch for some champions that struggle to actually kill cannon.

Stopwatch is hardly that situational. At the worst it's gold towards Zhonya's/GA/Stoneplate, and it often can be just enough to save you from a last tick of ignite or a tower shot.

Hexflash is situational, however. Can work well on Blitz and Leona, and I think Rengar can use it for a range extension on passive. Far from garbage, but it's not really usable on most champions.

If you compare any runes to domination they all suck. Domination has minor runes that are almost as good as keystones.

Also that one rune in precision that should never have been made.

Glacial is legit and so strong that it could make up for the loss of not taking a tree that gives more stats. It's not that it's a FM replacement. It's the active which is very strong. You kind of need a champ that has synergy with those items. And then you have to be at a level where your team will go in if you initiate, etc... If you can stack those items, then you may win numerous critical end-game teamfights.

Back when FotM was still in the game, it made a lot more sense for a tank support to take it etc... NOW the same champion would need to build RG; Zeke's doesn't even proc Glacial.

Actually, the removal of FotM constituted another Inspiration nerf.

Again... OP comes down on Stopwatch. Well... if you KNOW that you'll be building a GA anyway, then stopwatch makes a lot of sense. That would make it a very valuable rune. Matches were you are playing a carry or hypercarry, matches where you are vs a champion with Ult/Execute reset mechanics. But in low MMR, again, the GA is not as good an item, your teammates won't ensure your revival etc... so Stopwatch value becomes elusive...

Mages who almost always build Zhonyas, on the other hand, really do want the stopwatch. But, if rune in another tree will make you strong enough to get a couple early kills... experience would teach to avoid Inspiration. In high MMR, and pro play especially, where early kills are infrequent, then the Stopwatch becomes more attractive.

This is the same argument regarding Cleanse summ. I know that I'll need either Cleanse or a QSS in a particular match. (And my champion uses Mercurial decently.) I could take Cleanse and save the gold. Or I could take Ignite or Exhaust and get a couple early kill that would pay for the QSS (which has a shorter CD besides).

Insulting anyone who disagrees with you before they even comment.

Great way to prove a point and make people agree bro.

I can't remember the last time I saw an Inspiration keystone other than Klepto (on Ez of course) in a high-level match. They seem extremely niche compared to straightforward damage/defense boosts like Electrocute or Aftershock.
