He has silence. He has true damage. He has knock up/slow He has life steal He can move pretty damn fast for a tank He can stack health His auto is basically like Lissandra's Q
The only things that really bothers me from all of that is how he has life steal and can move fast. So frustrating......

and lets not mention things like if he is going tank he isnt a damage threat and if hes going damage you blow him the fuck up like any other immobile mage.
btw listing the points of a champion will never be classed as a valid way to justify their power...

He has percentage damage reduction
He has percentage damage increase
He has a movement speed buff
He has an aoe slow
He has point and click sustain
He has an infinty scaling ultimate
He has skills to block projectiles
He has high sustain damage
ect ect you get the point.

Try building him full AP. Your thoughts will change.

Swiftstrike41 votesHe doesn't have lifesteal in his kit unless someone runs grasp of the undying. He has sustain through his passive (killing minions). Cho'Gath players are all over the board, some are really good others are terrible. His silence is the only reason he is incredibly strong because the duration and range gets further the more points he puts into it. His knock-up is terribly telegraphed and only easy to land if the enemy is silenced first.
He is a sort of a "fake tank" too since more Cho'Gath have mix builds and don't go full resistances. He is versatile, but easily kited and if he gets caught out and dies he loses his stacks and gets weaker.
He is just a burst mage that can be somewhat tanky that offers some team utility if he loses lane. He is almost like a juggernaut, easily kited but can deal damage if you get too close or misposition.

can be very fair. It just depends on his build. He could go tank, he could go AP, he could go attack speed (trust me...it works).
