stop fighting. just farm.

you know when you died twice already? stop fighting. it didn't work the first time, it didn't work the 2nd, why do you think it'll work the 3rd?

you know when the jungler specifically said "hey guys don't fight before 4, I'm weak and won't be able to help"? Is that the best time to dive and ping for a gank?

you know when the ADC says "hey don't go in, we outscale" and you jump in and feed the enemy lane bully so they can more efficiently zone your ADC? what were you thinking?

use your fucking brain. it has language processing capabilities and logic for a reason. everything has a cause and effect.

seriously, there's an easy playbook for winning games consistently. #1 avoid solo deaths, giving up farm if needed. #2 farm while avoiding fighting where you aren't guaranteed to 100% win or taking free damage #3 wait for enemy to outplay themselves with bad positioning or a jungle gank. stop trying to think you're a carry. instead make it easy for the team to carry.

And on the opposite side of the coin, don't just farm when you have an oppressive lane, abuse that shit.

I typically see the opposite problem way more than a strong lane just farming. Even in plat, 99% of the time it is a weak lane or an even lane fighting when they don't need to, feeding, and instantly losing the game.

Literally, I have been tracking games based on which team gives up first blood and whether it was pre-5 or solo. The team that gives up a pre-5 or solo first blood is almost 100% losing the game. Dying to a gank is far less devastating than a solo kill due to exp. If everybody thought to themselves "my goal is to not give up a solo first blood pre-5" then this game would be 100% easier.

Well just don't fight appears to be a hard concept for many to grasp..

Down here in dirt 5 it means keep pushed to the tower and trade any chance you get.

<3 all lanes staying pushed into their towers for the first 10 minutes of the game. Tower dive = no follow up and just giving them a kill. Through the lane gank = generally losing gold / experience for little or no gain (They'll push the lane instead of letting it push in, and not use any cc until the enemy is nearly in tower range).

Anyway now that my rant is done..

A good rule that players in lanes need to pickup and follow is lock your lane in a neutral or safe position. A neutral position makes it easier for both sides to gank and increases the chance of escaping ganks. A safe position will make your jungler constantly look at your lane for free kills.

Another good rule is if you get a kill push the lane into the enemy tower and do whatever damage you can safely. This gives a ideal chance for you to roam or back. When the opponent comes back to lane let the wave push into your side and then lock it just outside your tower. This will force them to stay overextended to cs and deny them most of the minions that died to the tower. So they'll be weaker and easier to all in / gank and you won't be risking the lead.

The final good rule I can think of is if your laner roams you either blow some wave clear on the lane to make it push in / pressure their turret and then follow them or you hard push into the turret. Do not just lock the lane and cs.

Basically outside of the final rule the minion wave should always be locked closer to your side or in the middle unless there is very a specific reason to have it at their tower (Forcing mana usage to wave clear as a example. Another one would be pushing for the early level 2 / 3 level to all in on them. Yet another would be having vision on anyone that could gank you and wanting to possibly make them lose cs to tower shots.)

I don't even expect that. I don't expect my team to not give up first blood. I just don't want anyone to get solo killed. Getting solo killed means that you lose lane instantly because they'll be at least a level ahead of you, while dying to a gank isn't as devastating due to EXP splitting.

how are you supposed to farm in the cases where you have a yasuo top lane who refuses to do ANYTHING except fight you to the death if you even dare to cs a single minion as a melee?

Allow him to push then last hit under turret if he's ahead, take the fight if he's not since that's a mistake on his part. Yasuo loses straight out all in brawls with 90% of top laners. Don't run from him, all in him. Otherwise he'll poke you down. You WANT him to fight you to the death, especially in your own minions.
