Just for the love of God, do NOT take the gromp. In doing so you just deprived your main engage (most times) a 260 damage DoT proc late game.

I like that Riot continues to improve the camp buffs, enforcing the idea that camps are for junglers not laners. You should only be taking camps from your jungler if you have permission to do so.

Red and blue still give 100% of their benefit to non-junglers though. Maybe Riot should look at that.

Smiting blue gives you 25% max mana over 2 seconds and smiting red gives you 20% max HP over 2 seconds

Plus they are frakin BUFFS they are not meant to be hoarded by one person who happens to take smite, they are meant to be given to whomever can use them best.

Then I guess the siege minions and tower last hits aren't for whoever chose that lane? Saying that the jungle camps, the jungler's main source of exp and gold, is not the jungler's is like saying I can tax you whenever I want.

Now, if the jungler chooses to give mid laner blue or the adc red then that is perfectly fine and I do agree with that being done, then that's fine. but you can't assume that because a jungler is bot lane or buying items he didn't want Krugs,raptors, etc.

the only exception I can think of is scuttles. ALWAYS take scuttles.

Do you ask permission when you get lane minions as a jungler ?

Minions and monsters are the team income, they belong to the whole team. Lanes is gold invested to some players roles, while monster is for the jungler, but neither strictly belong to 1 player. Of course taking it away from another player early will mean your team income is more spread instead to be heavily invested into the carries, but after a certain time it doesnt make that much of a difference.

Its agreeable that the jungler get the most gold out of the camps because of the jungle item, and that smiting toucans and toad(for tanks) goes a long way, but they arent his only to take.

I actually don't ever tax if I'm playing jungle, I only take lane minions if they need to be kept off the tower and I'm nearby. Or if the team is trying to push down a tower.

there is so many reason for a jungler to push a wave...

For example after a sucessful gank, you push the wave so your lane can back, get his item and when he is back in lane, it isnt frozen in a akward place, and the opponent lose minions to the turret.

In the end, its gold you securing for the team and can put you in a good lead to carry the game.

Unless they are dead/backing, which is what most laners do after getting a gank from the jungler.

Actually, it may delay their back, specially if the opponent jungler comes into lane. Even if he dont, then the opponent laner can farm up exp to deny the lvl advantage your laner may have had still if you helped push the lane.

what? it actually help the laner. its common practice in higher elo, and people usually agree (junglers and laners) that its the best way to do thing..but hey if you rather not snowball advantages over a few shared creeps, more power to you.

diamond1+ (and most of them heavily will encourage people of all elo to do so as well, as it the best way to snowball leads). But as i said, if you rather not snowball your lanes and make it easier to win the game, more power to you.

gromp is bleh later game imo but i do think raptors should always be for jg, and never take more then 1 camp every few minutes from your jg he needs the rest.

or just grow a pair and take a camp from enemy jg..

Agreed, Gromp and Raptor should be left for jng as they get the most use out of it. There are times when it's ok to take it, as in the scenario that somehow you ascertain the enemy jng is going to take it and you prevent that by killing it. Otherwise, respect your teammates.

I'm a jungle main, and I don't care if my camps are taken by laners, I would just rather my camps not be taken before I hit level six. It's not like if one of my camps is taken that I'm going to be way behind and fuck up the whole game.

That is why I time my gromp buff now. Blue and red buff? built in timer, I just have to check that occasionally. Gromp? I'm not letting anyone near mine, and I will check my opponent's one whenever I can

I feel like a number of players don't understand yet that smiting jungle creatures gives buffs past what you gain by simply killing them. Like so many people still don't know to click the lantern.
