No.

Mana regen is no longer a mage stat. Get over it.

And Razor's Bracelet breaks the rule of A) Limiting items that grant both armor and MR and B) forbidding items that give health armor and MR. Every tank would buy this item and not care, money well spent because it's so slot efficient. Couple this with Zz'rot and you're unkillable.

and worse, bracelet is a forbidden MR+mana item because Ryze exists

I swear, this game would have twice as many items in it if Ryze and Ezreal didn't exist.

they are reworking Ryze (again) though

i highly doubt they'll remove his 'mana to damage' trait, it's one of his most defining characteristics

i agree with people who said you need context for these items "where x should be used" or "this is supposed to fill this need" as to the items themselves:

Crimson's bow - this is honestly a slightly worse rod of ages (after stacking) that doesn't need to stack, but costs a lot more. there's a reason the mana gain/healing are rather low on roa, and i don't think an item whose only purpose was to raise those values a little bit is worth it.

glimmer's rod - i can't tell if this is supposed to be a mage or support item. It simply doesn't have the ap to function as a mage item, and mana regen alone isn't enough to make it worth the item slot/cost. IMO you'd just be much better off getting a tear -> archangels if you want to throw that many spells or morrelonomicon if you want to get more mana in fights. I see what you're trying to do here with passive mana regen, but i feel like the penalty of 'after not taking champ/turret damage" would be almost negligent as only poke supports MIGHT want to use this... but i still think something like unholy greil would be more useful for them

Razor's bracelet - besides all of these item names being oddly posessive, this i think is the most interesting item on the list, but it really feels lackluster. first off, with it's components, you are gaining all of 15 MR, 5 armor and 100 mana in base stats for the 1000 upgrade cost, ontop of that you are LOSING 10% cdr from the glacial shroud too. Though you are gaining some interesting things for the combine cost, i don't honestly see this item being that useful. no mage should be building that many resists, no tank needs that much ap. the only champ in the whole game i can realistically see this working on is ryze, and he doesn't need the help. plus the "spend mana to gain bonus ap" is a cool idea, but i don't think it would work very well in implementation, especially as you're giving them so much more to use that they'd have to cast a lot more to get value out of it.

I think razor's bracelet is cool in theory, but can't see a time when it would actually be useful. the other two i simply don't see having any real place at all

Yeah I completely forgot to add the CDR on Razor's Bracelet.

The direction I wanted with Glimmer's Rod is a response to AD mid champions, preferibly manaless ones. This allows you to have a ton of mana to spam spells, AP for damage and armor for protection.

As for the Crimson's Bow, wanted to make a better item than ROA and Hextech GLP-800. This is a much better item for battle mages (hello Karthus, Swain, Gragas, Galio, Maokai, etc).

so if your aim with the glimmer rod is to have mana + armor and ap, why doesn't it build of seekers armguard for example? at that point it's basically an hourglass with worse stats and no stasis, but lots of mana. I'm not exactly the best mid laner, but in my experience you'd be better off getting a second dorans ring or the new lost chapter and then getting armguard, the dorans/chapter will give you a good amount of mana to spam spells as long as you are clearing with them. otherwise if you just want a ton of mana then why not go tear? i just feel like the item isn't worth the slot it would take, it's not unique enough when you could easily get better results from different things

the problem with your statement about the bow, it's NOT better than roa... besides it gives a little more healing. it's simply not very good, it's got less stats, which anyone on the frontline doesn't want (why would you spend MORE money for LESS), and a tiny bit more healing isn't worth that investment, roa is already super efficient and it feels like you're just trying to get around saying 'i think roa needs a buff' the item is just far too similar to roa, without the stacking, to be viable i think.

unless you were to try and turn it into a pure tank item with just more armor and hp, maybe some cdr, like combine catalyst with a kindlegem and giant's belt and get an item with a bunch of mana/hp that had the catalyst passive, but better, that might do you better than what you have here, but at that point you hit the question 'what tank needs to be spamming spells that much? the only one that comes to mind might be either ryze or swain, but again, they already have roa

And bring rod of ages back to its old self because eternity and pure eternity is like wtf.

ModWulf Helhammer2 votes

And I don't think you get the point of all the item changes

Crimson bow seems a tad bit overpowering, i suggest reducing the healing to 15% as per the other it works out well. However you would have to rework Razor bracelet to work off pure ap users. Feel like it may be a tad bit overbearing on ap bruisers.

Hige1 votes

pure eternity more like INFINITE MANA YO

Adalore1 votes

Okay if you are going to suggest items I need to know what the intended use cases are, because otherwise I cannot provide any feedback that does anything.

They just seem like total random noise being thrown at a wall that hasn't been defined.

Blue Moon Wolf1 votes

I like razors bracelets second passive, sort of balances itself out by giving more AP the lower your mana is, but the if your mana is too low you can't use your abilities. Also Crimson bow is something that would be really cool with the changes to item 3010, since every item it builds into doesn't improve the passive, they just get a bonus ability on top of it.

Saianna1 votes

Damn, you are better at this than idiot who's responsible for Guinsoo rageblade bullshit item..

TotalJerk1 votes

These items are all OP as hell and add nothing unique or interesting to the game. Also, why is the CDR on the 3500 gold Razor's Bracelet unique?

TonyTonyMordecai1 votes

I think the bracelet has a bit too much MR and armor, especially with the passives it gives...

But otherwise, I think these are nice!

Bisaknosp1 votes

these items are terrible

SlashStriker1 votes

item 1038 + item 1038

passive: grands 100 AD while out of combat. Does not grand any stats while in Combat

Nekusen1 votes

Crimson Bow seems to do nothing special, basically an expensive item 3027 or a item 3030 without an active.

Glimmer Rod seems ok, would lower mana and increase AP and armor though, not sure if the CDR is necessary on it.

Razors Bacelet, way too expensive, the AP is minimal and the stats are weird, item 3170 is a better item.
