Is Tiamat for waveclear or Burst or sustain?

This item is relatively cheap, it wasn't overpowered before but right now in a bruiser intensive meta it's slowly starting to become stronger and stronger every now and then.

Let's be clear that alot of champion really need that item since most of their kit don't have waveclears, but the fact that it's used as a burst item it's kinda ridiculous. But what kind of burst you might ask? Well I'm talking about animation cancelling burst, cancelling many animation in a fraction of a sec to kill faster. I'm not saying that this item should not animation cancel but can it be slower for the sake of getting killed too quickly by anyone? It's on a short cooldown and it's great for short trades or all in burst. The fact that it procs lifesteal with ease makes a champion really hard to push out or outsustain.

The only nerfs I want about it, -Less lifesteals -Slower animation cancel

Tiamat is 25 ad for 1200 gold in terms of combat stats.

Its weaker in a duel than every other 1200~1100 gold item (jaurim fist, phage, serrated dirk, caulfield hammer), so you get the waveclear at the cost of combat stats at the stage you buy it.

Its balanced.

The waveclear it gives you can give you extra damage in a trade if the other guy decides to fight in a minion wave when you have a creep advantage.

Tiamat doesn't have lifesteal. Ravenous hydra does. Otherwise, yes, Tiamat is quite loaded.

I mean the fact that works with lifesteal, meaning lifesteal from mastery and item 1055

So you want it to give AP instead of AD? Every single AD item works with lifesteal.

i think the op means the passive/active works with lifesteal. which it doesnt.

But Tiamat doesn't work with Lifesteal.

Only once it's upgraded to Ravenous Hydra, does it do so.

Tiamat is NOT an auto attack reset. Yes you can AA then immediate activate tiamat for AOE dmg, and then continue to auto, but it does not proc any AA or on hit effect. Only once you upgrade it to one of its parent items, does it act like that.

It's for all 3. Problem?

Ok not really. Regen is a joke stat.

item 3083 is a total joke.

Until the other guy survives your poke and heals up.

When I said "regen is a joke stat" I put the word "stat" in there for a very specific reason. I was talking about the standard stat on items which is specified to scale off your champion's base health regen.

Warmog's is only strong because it has a passive that has nothing to do with the standard health regeneration stat.

The standard regen stat is a joke and therefore Tiamat's sustain is a technicality only. It makes no difference.
