Regaining Mana in Mid Lane
How has anyone not talked about the fact that these new item changes for mid lane completely removes any mana regen that we had. Then one item we had that wasn't super situational or niche, was morellonomicon that gave mana regen on a very limited basis of a kill or assist. That was our one item for actually being able to do anything at length in the game. Now it has been replace with more bulk mana and small niche effects. Bulk mana isn't what i need anymore than bulk HP is what an ADC needs. Some sort of regen that allows me to meaningfully contribute late game is what i need. I understand poke/stalling waves was a problem, but when you took away my ability to do that you then gave ADCs that power for free with shiv. ADCs need lifesteal to survive and it's given to them. It's given to them in runes and items. Mana regen is what i need, it's given to me with one rune that got nerfed and it was on one item that now has been removed completely. I honestly don't understand why i'm having all my tools for doing my job removed and replaced with items and abilities no one wants. We were given lower AP ratios with higher CDR with the promise that we were going to be able to do similar damage but overtime instead of one round of burst. Without mana regen that means nothing i now do less damage, at more cost, with less sustain than i need. Mages are becoming nothing more than supports with how we have to hold all of our abilities for only the optimal times or else we waste our precious mana stat that we can't get back.
The only reason i'm upset with the new item changes is because now we offically have no all around fully built mana regen item that we require for our jobs.
