This is basically what we had several seasons ago except it's much better. We have a chance of getting our roles and getting autofilled, and if you do get autofilled, you get immunity.
People learning support isn't a bad thing whatsoever.
I'm with it.
What I would like to see though, is that if support is your primary, that it is given to the support player and not someone else.
Lancerblader1 votesu do have to keep in mind tho we didn't get assigned roles before the new champ select, and in the old one people would all declare which lanes they could play and which they couldn't, so more often people who picked earlier pick their roles that didn't clash with those coming after. i cannot play jungle at all and it bores me to death so i avoid it nonstop. and because i let people know my issue with it, it was incredibly rare that people would leave me with that role.
however since people have their roles assigned to them now they're a lot less interested in giving that role up, in all the times i've been auto-filled i don't think ive yet to have someone say yes when i asked if i could swap to a different role, so its actually far more likely ill get a role i cant play now than with the old champ select.
Korillo1 votesYa with autofill active the old champ select was much better. They should just go back to that. It'll be faster queue times and stop the tilt of not getting your role / being autofilled.
SoundChaosDebug1 votesI wouldn't mind auto fill if the protection lasted longer than 1 remake of a game, you don't even get to play your guaranteed role when some one quits a game early and it remakes.
