If you want to win and you are lower than plat II, type /fullmute all every single game

For everything that is useful and helpful that is put in chat or pings, there are 5000 other flames, toxic rants, bad calls that will get you killed, etc.

It used to be that I would wait until after someone started "?" pinging after they would dive after lulu into enemy unwarded jg, but now I just preemptively do it every game.

It removes tilt and lets you make decisions for yourself instead of being influenced by angry children playing yasuo whose mom is calling them for dinner.

So in other words, you'd rather play alongside your teammates than with them. This is a team game. GTFO.

So I should ignore 3 players every game just because the Fourth one COULD be toxic?

No ty. If someone starts being a bitch I will mute that person but I won't mute people because they MIGHT flame. They have to do smth before that warrants a mute.

Uhm.. If you're just immediately muting all pings, you're immensely hindering yourself for no reason.

Out of the thousands of matches I've played in the last two seasons, I can only think of four instances where I actually muted someone's pings(Just one player, not my entire team). Maybe a handful more where I probably should have muted them but didn't.

Pings are ridiculously helpful(If you have even a speck of map awareness), as well as the best way for your team to pass information along without having to type.

Muting chat makes sense(If you can't control yourself enough to not get tilted/mad at things others say), and muting Emotes I guess makes sense? If you're somehow tilted by a little image that people display... But muting pings for everyone? You're just opening yourself to ganks, collapses, being spotted by wards, not knowing when your teammates pinged you back from a gank you were about to make... You literally gimp yourself. Muting pings is like breaking your toes(Intentionally) before you run a race. Sure, you can still run it... But why do that to yourself.

No thank you. I play team games partially for the social experience. I'll climb in time, as I get good enough to justify it. Until I reach that point, I'll stay where I am. Because that's how it works, contrary to a lot of peoples' biased beliefs. When you deserve to climb, you climb - muting or not.

If I wanted an experience with no social component, I'd play Hearthstone.
