@Riot: Would you ever consider making an item that lets you build temporary towers?

Just a thought since there's so many new tower-pushing mechanics. Towers seem to die faster than ever, such that pushing a lane can lead to a dead Inhibitor in a mere minute or less, even in early-to-mid game situations.

And seeing as there's some items and mechanics that become useless if there's no turrets left, I think that to improve said item usefulness (i.e. Ohmwrecker), there needs to be an item that lets you build on your team's tower ruins (not on enemy team ruins).

But I also have a sneaking suspicion that Riot will simply say "Never gonna happen". Can I get a confirmation on that, or is the idea of a tower-building item not completely ridiculous?

At the cost of a lot of gold and an item slot? Why not?

Nobody complains that Talisman of Ascension basically gives you Sivir's ultimate, right?

Well, only one person on the team can really use it efficiently then, support, the other roles are busy tanking or DPSing, unless they are stupidly far ahead, there will be very little reason to get it besides to troll. Like what stats would it give that anyone except a support would get it?

That's the idea: It should be a support-only item that provides the team with a unique form of utility.

Think of it this way: What class besides tanks/supports ever gets Ohmwrecker?

Well, before APC could have, but now, it is just tank and supports. I buy it on Volibear personally.

Okay, bad analogy with Ohmwrecker, but you see where I'm going with this, right? The item would be a bad buy in terms of stats unless you're a tank or support, and in those cases would probably be less popular than more typical picks like Mikael's Crucible or Locket of the Iron Solari.

But in certain builds, this tower-builder would prove very useful.

I don't think it would happen for one many reason, stalling to a degree that Riot doesn't want, think back, a bit, back to season 1 and 2, remember a certain summoner's spell that make all towers unkillable?

oh my god I loved fortify with a passion....im still waiting on zzrots gate to come out...for the minion spawning madness, im going to buy that and banner every single game...did someone say siegedinger? you wouldn't believe how happy I was when I learned I could promote minions of my choice now and have a super minion a big bubba banner minion and my ult turret all at the same time
