Does anyone else think Thresh's lantern needs more consistency on being able to prevent it?

Ever have moments where you're a Cho'Gath, you're standing on an enemy lantern, but the enemy is STILL able to use it to pull to safety? That just feels terrible.

There honestly needs to be more consistency on preventing an enemy from using the escape mechanism on Thresh's lantern. It presently relies solely on you forcing your enemy to misclick, which is inconsistent. Shouldn't it be a trigger like "if an enemy Champion is standing on Thresh's lantern, your teammates can't grab it"?

Or does that end up being too "feelsbad" for Thresh's teammates?

I don't see why thresh's lantern needs counterplay like that.

It's more an issue of consistency. Most players try to stop an enemy from taking the lantern by hovering on it and using their hitbox to force the enemy to misclick. But sometimes it doesn't work, or you're playing a Champion who can't do that due to being small/thin (i.e. Ashe).
