Is this the worst new champ release in years? I feel like my placements were all given away because of feeding Sylas players. Placement season with a new champ release.. Ho ho ho! Riots got jokes!

Yeah, he doesn't really have items to build and his kit is just extremely weak. He loses to almost every other champ in the game and most just outrange and shit on him without anything he can do against it, not even farm because his Q doesn't even deal damage compared to other wave clear spells lol

I feel like hes a weaker ekko tbh. Not really a strong top laner, cant support, can jungle but barely, not adc appropriate... That leaves him mid lane vs this meta. Not favorable.

His W should probably heal at least a little bit on minions. Going into melee range against a champ just feels awful when they will chunk you for 50% of your hp either before or right after again. Oh well, new champ and they didn't have a chance to balance him yet. Though I don't think simply some number tuning is going to help him, he needs some mechanics shuffled around imo

Riot would have to nerf the healing back to allow healing on minions

Just ban him in ranked. Otherwise your teammates think they are amazing and will feed on him while believing they are carries. He is awful. His kit is going to be ridiculous when Riot over-buffs him though. So.... fun times coming soon? [slayer-jinx-unamused]

The main issue is, his kit work for a bruiser or diver. He have tool to engage but doesn't have the durability to follow. If he was AD instead of AP, this would be a different scenario, he would most likely rule top lane roster by using their ult against them but because he is AP, he have no real durability and end up being blown up before be able to actually do something. Current AP item isn't favorable for AP bruiser in general and Sylas fall short in the category as no item support his playstyle.. this one was a big fail from Riot honestly.
