Why does leona get so many free defensive stats?

I always see her building pure hp items and being as tanky as renekton. Also that gapcloser thing that goes through minions to the last person.. kinda bs.

They are all dumb, Leona just gets to get by unnoticed because Janna hard counters her.

The thing about Leona that I don't understand is HOW is it possible that she deals SO MUCH DAMAGE WITHOUT DAMAGE

Because she's a tank / support, and deals zero dmg.

She was made to be a tank, but there is no reason to send her to solo lane - she can barely farm with her abilities...

The only thing about Leona that's OP is her undodgeable ult. It's like how Sejuani was nerfed because if she missed the stun there was a huge ass slow so you're caught anyway.

You can walk out of the centre stun part, but you'll be hit by the huge slow.
