"New Meta"? Why won't this "New Meta" work?

I'm talking big picture. Burst mid, tank/bruiser top, adcarry and support bot. Why can't you just take what you know is going to happen and counter it? Tanks go mid so they avoid getting bursted down and can beat the ap burst in a full-on fight. Top lane where tanks and bruisers go, you can take someone like kog'maw who has a decent range and shreds tanks. So mid and top are now at an advantage. For bot lane adc/support you can try to do 2 assassins bot to assassinate the adcarry to render them useless. You can't support a dead adc.

I know I attacked this from a very straightforward view but why wouldn't this work? It seems that every lane is beaten and if every lane is beaten then the losing team can only rely on non-laning phase decisions to win the game as laning phase must be completely lost.

Why won't this work? Or does it work?

Tanks are fairly weak early game, so mid laners that have kill ults will have an advantage over any other tank. Not to mention tanks can get kited. Making 2 assassins bot will make one of the assassins go dmg and the other one build a support item to keep the gold flowing to both. I dont really know how to explain this, but your strategy wont work at all.

Solid first point. but my other point was that the assassins could ignore the support and dish out damage to the adcarry since burst damage counters sustained damage.

Because what you described is cheese and half of it is kinda non-sensical.

Tank mid just means the mid-laner's gonna push the lane for free, get free harass, and probably gets to roam for free. If you want to be aggressive, then the mage can just play safer.

Top lane already has Jayce Kennen Rumble Gnar played in it regularly, so it's not like ranged isn't a thing top lane, and Kog'maw's a pretty terrible choice anyways if you're just looking for a ranged carry to go top.

Double assassin bot lane has to rely on kills to snowball and if they can't do this, the ADC/support lane will just outfarm and outscale. Jungler intervention can easily stop this match-up dead in its tracks for the assassins and as someone mentioned, one of the assassins has to be sacrificing having their standard build, unless you want two champions trying to evenly split gold.

Let's assume that these guys are gods. If there could theoretically be four gods to descend down and play a bottom game of league when two people play standard ADC and Supports randomly yet synergized and two people play well synergized assassins, could the assassins maintain a solid winrate over the adcarries if you remove the junglers from the equation?

well of course, there's a video going around of 3 challengers playing against 5 silver players and kicking theirs butts to oblivion but considering that matches in league of legends are made of opponents with somewhat equal skill, what you propose is simply impossible.

Also, Assassins main problem is CC, supports pack CC (or they should), 2 assassins in bot will get bursted down way faster than any damage they could provide, plus, assassins NEED to scale with items, sharing CS will simply put them behind heavily.

Are any two assassins capable of bursting the adc from level 2-3 in presence of a support?

If you do shut down the adcarry then the entire enemy bot lane becomes useless.

there isn't because as I said, assassins depend on itemization scaling, early game every assassin is at disadvantage against adc+support

this meta just like all metas before it and after it til they change the map and how you win the game will always be an ADC meta

I'm seeing the rise in marksman toplane. I tried out Vayne top against a Ribwn. We won. They can shred through tanky targets, and keep a distance with their kiting. So now marksmen are going toplane, so what do you do? Bring another marksmen top? I know Riot will rework this, even though deep down I love it.

if i see a marksmen top lane i just pick malphite and wait til 6 and ult and win lane

They seem to build armor penetration and stuff, aomthwn they can shred tanks. Then they build the rest with ad and armor. Good luck. :/

i can provide screen shots that prove i won

Ah! I was just predicting the scenario, but I guess they aren't really op! Riot just needs to nerf malphite now.

Well, the most stable thing about the meta is propably the bot lane. Sure you can try to do some cheese combo bot, but there is a reason for it to be called "cheese". It relys on the enemy to make a stupid mistake. Supports basically counter aggression. There is a good chance, that a good support will be able to save the adc even from 2 assassins.

Tank or fighters (non assassin melees in general) mid are a terrible idea. They get countered by about 80% of all ap carries.

Top lane is propably the most versitile lane. In theory you can play almost everything top. In praxis it's mostly a team comp thing, together with the fact that toplane is pretty easy to gank compared to mid. You gonna have an adc botlane anyway. Midlane will be usually someone squishy as well, because of the reason above. If you pick someone weak to assassins and divers in toplane as well, you open yourself up for counterpicks. Picking kogmaw top is just an invitation to any bursty jungler or roaming mid.

My goal was that if the standard bot lane didn't make any mistakes they would have great trouble csing without being bursted down by the assassins. Csing could be a mistake if the assassins were capable of bursting the adc, so instead the bot lane would be zoned out. If the assassins win in the 2v2 then why wouldn't this work?

And can you elaborate with the mid almost always being countered? I thought being tanky allows you to live through burst so someone like cho'gath would do well mid because he can damage while absorbing damage and not getting deleted.
