Not every major change for the game's design is negative
Like...all the doom and gloom shit that gets posted on the boards is irritating to read. It's like people bypass the logic as to why a change is made and only look at the negative side effects of it...and if it's not even that negative, people just circle jerk it anyway. It's always "X does too much damage" or "X class is busted" or "X class is useless". Has anyone taken the time to realize...

...everyone thinks EVERYTHING is broken quite literally at the same time right now. AD fighters are broken. Tanks are broken. Mages are broken...and if it's not mages, it's at least
. But wait, adcs are broken. Assassins, which counter broken adcs and mages (or at least
) are ALSO BROKEN. Not everything can be broken at once. That doesn't even make sense. -
...games aren't really that stompy? For the past few patches, the spread's basically been 20% of games end at about 25, 30, and 35 minutes. 15% end around 40 minutes, and about 10% end by around 45%. Only about 5% have been ending by 20 minutes. Games have been rebalanced to give early game champs the room they need to influence the match, take objectives, and run their opponents down before they scale because that's the point of early game champs. Just as much as they have to earn their right to win as fast as possible, their opponents have to earn their right to scale past them. The changes made to the game have been to make early game options like Pantheon and Renekton more viable, because they sure weren't that good last season when everyone was playing for the 40 minute mark.

...with all this complaining about high damage, maybe the real issue is that people are too used to the tank meta of old hand-holding stupid decisions and repeated errors? Let's be real: The Cinderhulk meta had both its benefits and flaws. Sure, some champs that aren't strong now were viable then, but that goes both ways. Where mid lane mages are suffering now, mid lane assassins were suffering almost a year ago. Only difference is that, back then, early game champs in general were weak, not just assassins (who are mainly early game champs). Now, mages in general are tending to be weaker (and even then, not nearly as bad as assassins had it before). Yea, ad is tending towards the top of the list, but the lows aren't nearly as low as before, so what's with the excessive bellyaching like all ap users have the win rate of Lee Sin?
Has anyone really stopped to look at the big picture before complaining?
