You want to know why some of us defend the Mord rework?

Its because us toplaners are kinda, ya know, sick of being shafted day and night with jgs being the only way to win the lane. 6+ seasons of the same old same old shit, and top's pretty much a sad joke. Morde is about as much "influence" a toplaner can dream of in the current state of toplane. Maybe if everyone who kept brushing off top's situation as a "non-issue" stopped doing that and actually supported us, we wouldn't be in this situation to begin with (because toplane would have some type of balancing structure, meaning numbers would be better tuned).

I can deal with his passive being tuned, but why go through all the trouble to do even more nerfs on top? Better be ready to pull off some of those base stat nerfs next patch. Its gonna hurt him A LOT.

I feel like a lot of you just support mord in his current state because you're tired of not being able to tank everything and come out on top. It shows when you're very biased against controversial topics. Especially when someone proves a good point.

Most top laners are supposed to tank everything and come out on top thats why these are the squishies Akali Ahri Caitlyn Draven and not these Aatrox Darius Gragas Illaoi JarvanIV but the former will often cry about being 'one shot' by the later and also cry about not being able to 1 rotation one shot them too

I never said anything about getting one shot. It's not about being one shot. It's about Aatrox and Mordekaiser coming up to 3 of my teammates being moderately fed and being able to kill all 3 of us because his ult.

this only happen's where your teammates dont have any power themselves and in aatrox's case walks into his spells and dont your teammates dont properly kite/ peel. that is as much the fighter fantasy as mages doing large chunks of damage or marksmen critting every once in a while (notice i didnt say mages one shotting or adcs critting every attack rito balance team are bonobos.) this is a 5v5 game fighters and tanks should be able to stand in front of 5 enemies possibly focusing them and still be able to do something for some time thus when it comes to less then 5 they would naturally survive longer and if played well with low enough numbers come out on top. An aatrox walking into 3 champions more than likey they can just walk away if they have no reasonable front line. Im not gonna defend this this is broken. pity its summer vacation if i took off work next week id be able to climb to gold abusing that mordekaiser then maybe id get less games with people insta tilting and surrendering as soon as the game starts (not likely but i have a high winrate so i usually get matched with low winrates of higher divisions)

Nothing in this meta can tank everything and come out on top. Even Morde can't. Thats not my issue. My issue is that people complain about champions in top (from their respective outside the wild roles) and not complain about the lack of balance structure the lane has. Its the reason why Morde got released like this, and the very same reason why Irelia not even an hour into her release patch got microhotfixed.

but morde is used more as a sup or a jungler from what i can see i am yet to see him play top (at least after rework)

I defend the morde rework because hes far easier to play than to play against. His winrate will start high and fall off, as his skill ceiling isnt all that high, where learning to play against him is a good bit higher.
