Rammus isn't fun to play against!

I was playing vs rammus yesterday in the jungle and in top lane and I realized just how incredibly frustrating it is to play against him when you're not darius/fiora/AP. He counters both assassins and ADs and his ganks as well are incredibly strong because of his super long taunt. He basically leaves bruisers and ADCs with 2 options, 1. Use abilities only and die to his base damage, or 2. Auto him and kill yourself. I know that people don't like to hate on tanks because they're "healthier" than assassins, and to an extent I agree. I think Mundo and Trundle and Garen, despite having high win rates, do have counter measures that can actually be used. However, I think Rammus is on a different level in terms of lack of counter play for AD champs.

Well "unless you're Darius/Fiora/AP" doesnt help your argument. Get a Mage and roast his face.

If you have a team without AP you deserve to be trounced by anyone building full armor, especially an armor tank like rammus/taric. Its part of the strategy of the game.

Neither are hyper mobile champs, neither are right click champs like Yi, Tryndamere and Marskmen. Get over it.

sigh You guys love to circle jerk about assassins like rengar and zed who also "lack counterplay" but suddenly when presented with a non-assassin champion that ACTUALLY can't be countered by 50% of the champions it's totally fine. "Just play an AP champ". Give me one viable top lane AP champ. Maybe Lissandra and Vlad, that's it. And Rammus doesn't build ONLY armor, he only needs thornmail and sunfire to shit on AD champs, afterwards he can get a BV and Mercs and the only mages that can even dent him are Brand and Karthus. Also, you can't deny the statistics. Rammus has a 53% win rate in gold and above on a champion with a low knowledge requirement. There's something wrong with that.

Anivia Diana Fiddlesticks Galio Karthus Rammus Swain Heimerdinger Are all good top laners. Rammus isnt "broken OP"; his taunt is 2 seconds iirc and he doesnt really do that much damage unless you build him with some AP. item 3068 item 3027 item 3157 item 3089 item 3158 item 3165
