Ranked Troubles

League of Legends Match History

I've run in to a bit of trouble this season playing ranked games. I've been done fine in normals. I don't know how many normals I have won or lost, but I don't remember any specifically horrible games. In ranked, however, I have lost all four games I have played, and I'm not sure why. I was only silver 5 last season, so I can't imagine I'm being matched up against anyone much better or worse than I am, considering that area is has a high player density and there should be plenty of players around my skill level. I've linked my ranked match history above. I don't feel like I've been playing horribly, but something must be missing. If you wish to, take a look at those last four games. Is there some sort of trend I'm missing? Is it just a fluke losing streak while matchmaking readjusts for the new season? Is it just me? (If it's just me, would you like to try to carry me? (please?))

TL;DR: Is there something I'm doing wrong in ranked that I am missing? Any tips?

Thanks, Koror

You win some, you lose some. Never quit and don't ranked when tilted.

I've hit 6 loss streaks before even while playing well.

Even with component players, a loss streak is going to happen.

With the crapshoot luck in bronze matchmaking, those loss streaks can get a little more severe.

4 isn't that bad, its bound to happen.

Well it says on your last match that they got first blood on you as Janna so that's not good. You also had the most/tied deaths on your team. That's really bad as Janna since she's already the weakest champion on the team she should always have the lowest deaths. Janna is a pretty limited champion as far as damage and peeling. She can be a risky pick in low elo if you don't have a good tank or enough damage. Another thing is with Rek' and Udyr your team might have had too much melee. In the new meta range champs are dominating and there's not much you can do if they can out poke you.

I don't know what the pick order was, but if you seen taric pick first I would have went Alistar. Taric can be a hard match up because of his team def and insane sustain. Alistar is really the closest in my opinion for a decent match up against him.
