Is being a support champ about having good base numbers or actually helping people?
Why is
on the bonus free rotation as a support?
What is your definition of a support champion Riot? Because this shows a distinct lack of understanding why someone main's a support champion and it makes me VERY afraid of what you intend to do with the support update when you get to it.
Brand CAN be taken bot, and he CAN CC someone for the adc to kill, but that isn't why you pick Brand bot and it doesn't make him a support champion, he is still an APC, he's just one that doesn't need a lot of gold to do damage. Putting him in this rotation is not "giving people a wide pool to choose from" it's giving people the wrong message about what it means to be a support and if changing supports into burst damage dealers is how the support update is going to go then I don't want any part of the game anymore.
Playing a support, AN ACTUAL support, is about enabling others to be powerful, it's about saving your allies from being killed and about being the one champion in a match that won't ditch you to go for a kill. Having Brand be one of your bonus "supports" isn't going to help you understand how to make being a support more attractive, it's going to make more people think they can just be another carry in bot lane.
Is support supposed to be about where you go on the map or is it supposed to be about actually supporting people?
