Is anyone still feeling Deathfire Touch is weak?

I mean I would like to pick it on some AD champs, yet it deals magic damage and the problem with it is that unlike Thunderlord's mastery path, which has precision that adds magic pen to your kit, Deathfire has none of it for AD users, also Deathfire has no base damage ratio, not even 1 per level, which still seems lame to me, I mean would 1 or 2 damage per level totally wreck the mastery?

BTW: other way to make it good could be causing it to deal physical damage if you have more AD than AP, and prevent it from causing it to proc item 3071.

Also, It would be more worth to pick over Thunderlord's if it lasted 3 seconds on AoE abilities instead of 2, I mean for real, almost all abilities in the game are AoE, I get it that it needs some control for DoT abilities, but I don't get why it is so lame on AoE ones.

Deathfire is pretty good on some AD champs. Especially Jhin. It's awwwesome on him.

I know hahaha, it is kinda meant for him, I mean he gets insane amounts of bonus AD.

I think his/her point is exactly that. It's only good on very specific niche champions, and those specific champions are the only ones that get any sort of benefit out of it. Think of it like this. This was a mastery made specifically for mages, and mages are very seldom if ever using it because Brand Malzahar Cassiopeia exist. This mastery had to be gutted just so it could be balanced on these particular champions that broke it to their favor. Now that was tuned down just so it could be balanced on these champions, the people it was already balanced on before them suffered the most from it thus defaulting to thunderlords.

Deathfire is only good when it directly synergizes with with a certain kit. The only reason its good on Jhin is because his AD scaling is so catastrophic the burn damage he applies to it is huge.

I feel like Deathfire is a tad weak on AP champs, especially in comparison to a couple AD champs that use it. But it was also a tad OP for awhile on them, with the biggest offenders being DoT mages.

I don't think it's really to weak, but it's to niche. On the champs that work well with it, it's certainly powerfull enough, but for the majority it's not a good masterie As a result, flat buffs might breake it for it's current users.

3 sec for aoe would make alot sens and has been requested basically since it first hit PBE, but well, no comment from riot on that. Besides that, i'd really love to see reduced ratios but therefor haveing the base damage scale with level like thunderlords, so it's not only usable by glasscannons.

And the ad vs ap part currently is balanced by a massive ad ratio on it, if you change it to physical damage with the current ratio, some champs would just be utterly broken with it (Jhin Pantheon)
