Why no compensation buffs for Malzahar mid?

It's Malzahar support thats the problem why is his midlane being nerfed as well when he wasn't doing anything there?

I liked it better when landing my Q meant I could flash and instaburst someone from full to empty. New Malz is a very hollow creature.

just now came back to league and havent been on the boards in awhile and this is one of the first things that i see.

seriously mid malzahar is already laughable, they already nerfed him in the jungling role and now this? wtf

Yeah I'm pretty much just an ult bot right now when I play him. I'm lucky I get teams that follow up on my ults recently

Movespeed nerfs on his Void pups, since Malhz doesn't want them to leave him, and they no longer pop into existence instantly. I don't see why Mid Malhz would need compensation for this.

If they get slowed from 600 range almost any ranged champion can walk away from him whenever he attempts to cast E and W. His E outranges his voidlings so if malz who now has a cast time on voidlings E's you and attempts to summon a voidling chances are it's going to be slowed well before it reaches you and it's going to die before actually damaging you.
