Critmaster Garen2 votesyou can. but the q animation is so fucking slow, that he probably hit w on you after it started (the cleanse happens right on the button press) and before it connected.
because your q takes half a second to execute and his w is instant, he can do this every time.
you really have to hold your q activation until after he hit w on you.
