Can i please play ranked again? how long will it be down?

the ranked server has been down a good while now.. i'd like to play ranked again.. if you're gonna perform maintenance can you at least give us an ETA?

Have you ever programmed anything? I went to school for it (sadly couldn't graduate because who has money for college right?) and can safely say that gamebreaking bugs can be difficult to root out, and possibly even more difficult to fix without disabling the cause of such a bug. With the ranked queues being down so long, the issue must be in something that Riot can't simply disable. They might not know when the server will be reliably fixed. Give it some time. You don't want them to throw out an ETA without them actually knowing if they can keep to the deadline.

i actually graduated with 4 degrees in computer technology. so i'm fairly versed in how a high traffic server network would function. i highly doubt this issue they're working on is on the programming side, it's most like a network issue (hence all the recent lag spikes and connection issues people are having). so yea, i can safely say i know enough about how it all works, to ask for an ETA.
