Can anyone tell me "how to Vayne"?

Mechanically-wise what do you recommend to do with her? I know her combo is AA-Q-AA-E or AA-E-AA-Q or E-AA-Q-AA. I got fed 5-1 and faced a 5-1 Nasus, but Vayne is really weak without her initial core items PD/SS and IE. So I feel my mechanics were a bit lackluster as with Vayne positioning is key. (We lost the game).

If there's any game knowledge you'd like to share when using Vayne, please do so too. I find this champion really fun but very, very difficult to use.

(Literally, practicing and winning with this champ is a gamble for me as I have to hug my support and team so much.)

Any tips on how to be better with her?

Well she is one of if not the most mechanically difficult adcs. As with any difficult champion, just practice a lot with them.

Use your E as a self peel tool, not a damage or stun tool.

auto more often, dont q towards enemies, try to save stun for gap closing characters for the peel is what i do.

First of all Vayne isnt about "combos". You are not Lucian

Vayne is far weaker without her ultimate, so play passively if its on cd. Know which opponents you can go aggro on and kill, and which you cant (mages that dont need to aim like Kennen Viktor Malzahar destroy you). When fighting vs dudes with dash moves, stand next to walls so when they jump you can easily E them.
