How do you play against LeBlanc?

Whoever designed LeBlanc should be sentenced to playing against her every game. This fucking piece of shit is so painful to go up against that even Fizz would be a relief after a game against her. She is annoying frustrating and generally unfun to play against. And even if the player controlling this glorious champion somehow fails to deal a shitload of damage in fucking milliseconds she can just dash awy from most of the counter attacks after i baited her abilities. It's absolutely unfair. I wouldn't care if it was unfair if at least it was fun. But it's not fun not even a little bit. Riot is always telling us how every champion's kit should be a about a meaningful and unique way of playing League so i guess they thought: Hey let's have a champion that is all about ruining the game for another person. She could be an arrogant looking bitch and we'll have to make sure that she doesn't let the opponent have any bit of fun! Deny them the last bit of enjoyment! Don't let her be actually useful past 25 minutes and also don't let her actually have a good teamfight potential. Just make sure she destroys the game for her opponent!

How do you play against her? Anything else than stay under tower build mr and try not to fucking die?

Take defensive summoners, start with double dorans into a bruiser/tank item.

Don't lose lane, ping and follow when she roams, ward river.

just play a champion that can play safe and farm well. Additionally almost every midlaner outperforms her after minute 30.

LeBlanc is not good on farming lanes, and if the player is good and still able to keep up with the cs, then he deserves a good game

How do I play against Leblanc? Well there are a couple of ways.

1--I pick Morgana drop my pool and farm the lane while using my E to eat most of her damage, land a binding when she attempts to combo me with her W, which frankly is pretty easy with how telegraphed it is, and then follow up with my kit, most of the time I win trades pretty handily if she tries. If she doesn't try I just W the wave to push her under turret and prevent her from roaming. Long story short unless I royally screw up Leblanc can't kill me Morgana.

2--I pick Annie charge up my stun and press Q drop my kit and walk away. Again I tend to win the majority of trades and I rush either Abyssal or RoA in order to protect myself from being blown up while being able to blow her up for the most part.

3--Pick Orianna and pretty much do what I do with Morgana, namely push her under turret to prevent roaming only Orianna can zone far better than Morg can.

4--Pick Karma farm the lane and save R+W for anytime she attempts to jump on me. If she does between the heals and my shields I again tend to win trades, if she doesn't I just farm the lane and again keep her pushed under turret to prevent her roaming.

5--Play AP Ezeal, in this case I just safe farm from a long way away make sure to ward to protect my allies from her roaming and then proceed to do what Leblanc does late game except in AoE fashion.

6--Play Kayle R her burst and free push the lane with E to prevent her from roaming. If she tries to fight me between R to prevent damage W to heal it and the constant damage I do there really isn't a way for her to win without me screwing up.

So there are 6 ways I deal with Leblanc, mostly it involves preventing her from roaming, but there are a few I just kill her with as well. Pick your favorite, Leblanc is annoying but she isn't nearly as toxic as some other champs.

  • Play Akali, you out burst her and you can dodge her W easy.

not if the LeBlanc is good.

but Akali outscales her. Like almost every other champion (I had this yesterday :3)

counterpicks are not counterplay

Michael Sykes1 votes

they are. Some champions just get hardcountered by other champions. It is not good, but there are several of those matchups. Does not mean that it is unwinnable

CerealBoxOfDoom1 votes

that's what a hardcounter is though. Or are you talking about depending on the other player playing poorly in order to win

Michael Sykes1 votes

I am saying that counterpicking is a part of counterplay. The pick&ban-phase is a core game mechanic But only because you got counterpicked, i.e. by a LeBlanc as Viktor, it does not mean that you have to lose that matchup - even if the LeBlanc is good. You just have to know that you should not risk something on the lane, after you got your e upgrade, you can constantly make pressure and simply outscale her. And you need mechanical skill.

Martyrofsand3 votes

Counter play to Leblanc is either push her into her turret to prevent her roaming, or to pick someone that can lock down a highly mobile assassin and either kill her or escape from her damage. Picking champions who do that and then doing just that is in fact counter play in a game in which picking specific champions is part of the game play.

CerealBoxOfDoom2 votes

counterpicking helps with counterplay but is not counterplay itself. The counterplay is in the strategy and there are multiple.

As ori or lux you can get MR which scales with your shield, Diana can do the same but she has a dash or blink that she can counterattack with. I forget which her ult counts as

How do you play against her? I do not accept staying under tower and trying not to fucking die for 15 minutes a counterplay option. Any other ideas?

If youre immobile, warn your team you have to play safe and for them to watch out when she roams. When she does roam you need to shove the turret hard. Or ward the river towards bot and do your best to counter her roam. Someone with some lockdown can help pin her down long enough to delete her Your best bet is to counter her pick, Malz annie etc, all can do fine against her when played safe. As well as scale better than she does not damage wise. But teamfight wise

if she had the counterpick : rush at least a negatron-cloak and farm very savly if you have the counterpick: do as above if you are not familar with any favourable matchup, i personally would recomend annie...go tanky and oneshot LB anyway.

LB is rather on the strong side of things and certainly can stand some nerfs, but most LBs really wonßt accomplish much if they donßt get fed by idiots. inexperience.

The first question to ask here is who are YOU playing or what champion pool will you likely play against leblanc or what champs do you just like in general for any lane at all.

strut1 votes

I play alot of immobile mages but if i can i usually pick Vladimir into her. That's a safe lane for me anytime.

Michael Sykes1 votes

and a bad lane for her. Altough she obviously tilts you, she has hard lanes which are even hard for an experience LeBlanc player. Even Heimerdinger works against her sometimes. So Vladimir is good

If you're a ranged champion be wary of being too close for her to land her Q (700 range). Try to always be too far away from her to land her Q and if you need to get a little closer try to position yourself to be on the very edge of her Q range.

If you do get hit by her Q she will almost always follow up with her W (600 range) which stepping to the side instead of backwards can sometimes negate the damage and waste her mana.

After she gets her ultimate be extra careful because the Q W R will hurt a lot. If you position well, she'll have to resort to W Q R to do damage and that combo does significantly less early game, especially if she doesn't land her W on you.

If you're an AP champion, getting an early Negatron Cloak helps a ton. If you're an AD champion, Hexdrinker is great.
