first off if you're melee you will get hit with every single orb of deception, also not to mention that ahris Q ms boost and ult dashes help her land charm.

Ok so there is this mechanic where you harass players as they move in for a CS and it works because a champion has to do their AA animation to kill the CS.

Yes, the objective is to time the hit so that it kills the minion. Then you get the gold you see.

You can use use shuriken at any range inside its maximum.

Name me one viable melee midlaner that doesn't have some sort of good ranged ability they can use to cs.

so there is no possible way to avoid a skillshot if you are csing? can you not move for 5 seconds after you cs?

It is impossible to dodge a skillshot when you are in mid animation because your character cannot move and take a CS at the exact same time with a auto attack which is why a good ahri will throw her Q while someone is mid animation.

did you know that you can cancel that animation by moving? ADCS do it all dee time

did you know that if you cancel the animation you will not get the minion and it will die and you will lose gold.

This is why Ahri's use their Q when someone is AAing a minion at 10% hp.

Hopefully you can take a seat now.

do you understand that often times the animation for an auto attack continues on longer than when the minion is killed? so you click the mouse... and you cancel the animation... Also name one viable melee mid laner that cant either use a spell to get out of the way of the skillshot, or shield the skillshot.

It's a 7 second cd and costs tons of mana, you don't have to bait out that many q's before farming becomes safer.

Sure Ahri is strong but... it´s ok, she´s a nimble Champion and she feels exactly like that all of the time. Btw.. she´s (unlike certain shadow guys x'D) fun to play and fun to play against. ^^

im trying to explain to you that abusing cast time/animation is the biggest way to land skillshots and win trades which is what a good ahri will do.

im trying to explain to you that any melee champion that goes mid will be more than capable of using a spell to either match/win the trade or move out of the way. Or just simply avoid the skillshot by clicking to the side. And im wrong because my 2nd account happens to be bronze?

dude the moment you have to take a CS that is at 10% hp you will be in animation to kill it.

you can either A) cancel the animation and never get any CS to avoid Q like you're saying or B) you will have to take Poke to actually get certain creeps.

READ MY DAMN WORDS. You can cancel the animation of your auto attack pre-emptively while STILL GETTING THE CS. You do so by clicking off to the side, making your champion move OUT OF THE WAY OF A SKILLSHOT. Now, once again, WHAT MELEE MID CAN NOT EVEN OUT A TRADE OR EVADE A SKILLSHOT? You have dodged that question 3 times now.

What comment am I ignoring? im telling you how taking a CS takes time which allows someone to use a spell or auto for free damage.

Btw you arent supposed to use escapes to dodge a skillshot everytime she throws it unless you want to be ganked 10x times a minute

  1. Just because ahri gains movement speed from her q doesnt mean you cant hit her with a spell...
  2. If you ward your damn lane and pay attention to where the enemy jungler is your chances of getting ganked arent nearly as bad.
  3. Quit with your condescending bullshit. If i played this game nearly as much as you do I would easily out rank you, I haven't had the time since college. You aren't anything special, quit acting like your delusional refusal to use your brain is something divine that I should be blessed to read

But the reward for tunnel visioning on her is making her completely useless. It's worth focusing on interrupting Death Lotus because doing so completely shuts down their mid laner, and likely gets them killed. It's definitely not very fun to spend your whole game worrying about Kat, agreed on that, but the counterplay is real.

And everyone can be crowd controlled, but the reward for CCing Kat at the right time is higher than it is for any other champion in the game. That's why it's considered her counter.

Wrong.

Even if you tunnel vision on Katarina she will still be able to use full rotation and at least half a second of Death Lotus off.

If she will get a kill with that not-to-be-ignored amount of damage the CC you will have won't be enough.

This is a 5v5 game, not Everybody vs Katarina.

Katarina is already so heavily nerfed any more would kill her. She can no longer kill anyone in lane unless the enemy is literally retarded and her teamfighting sucks now because they made her squishier.

Annie and katarina both lack counterplay due to their combos being way too fast and easy to do.

On the other hand, katarina takes good skill to play against competent people while Annie is easy.

Also ahri isn't balanced, she is overloaded and pretty OP in midlane currently.
