Can we talk about Red Trinket?

In game text:

"Active: Scans an area, warning against hidden hostile units and revealing invisible traps and revealing/disabling wards up to 500-2000 units away for 6 seconds in a 450 radius."

Where does it say activates those traps?

It reveals Teemo Shrooms, but does not detonate them. If you are an idiot you can still stand on them. It reveals Nidalee traps, but does not set them off. If you are an idiot you can still stand on them. It reveals Jhin traps, but does not set them off. If you are an idiot you can still stand on them.

So why the bloody hell does it activate and expire Shaco boxes?

A little bit of professional consistency here Riot would be appreciated. The invisible un-clarity of box disabling is hidden on the wiki for the box itself.

It is bad enough that the item is free and completely cripples some kits, but I can live with it existing. I mean, I think it would be fair if I could get an item (for free I might add) that removes all the damage from Draven's spinning axe, but I can understand why you specifically target invisible ones.

Making them visible should be enough to avoid them and attack them, making them expire is just hypocritical and cruel.

At the very least, Trap disabling should be exclusive to item 3341 , and not also on item 3364 . This would give people a reason to leave it as Sweeping. Make them decide whether trap removal or efficnet ward removal is more important, instead of being able to get the best of both worlds. Nothing wrong with not overloading certain items.

"Shaco creates a Jack in the Box that hides from view after 2 seconds. It pops out when an enemy comes near or when uncovered by a ward or trinket, making nearby enemies flee very slowly for .5/.75/1.25/1.5 seconds

It attacks deal 35/50/65/80/95 (+20%) ability power) magic damage. It lasts for 60 (+5% ability power) seconds while hidden or 5 seconds while firing."

It does it for Shaco because that what is intended for his kit. Once his boxes are revealed they can't pop out any more, so they just pop out once revealed. It also fits with the idea of what they did.

Now if they made a trinket that sucked things into the ground for 3 seconds then that would be an interesting counter to draven's axes if you aimed it right.
