Akali Ekko Evelynn Fizz Kassadin Katarina Kha'Zix LeBlanc Rengar Shaco Talon Zed

that's good, really good list, you need to rework all those "i kill someone and go back" assassins that aren't even unique, but why kha'zix, kassadin and katarina are on this list?

katarina has a good kit(minus manaless poke) brings high AOE damage to her team. kha'zix is the best assassin to kill isolated targets kassadin should be the most mobile assassin and you need to revert his ulti range nerf

so why?

The big thing for Kat is 'Does the enemy have any CC still up? If no, go in and ult, if Yes hang back until it's used.'

For Kass, it's "Do I have mana for ult to trade/escape/duel"

Kha doesn't really hit on his fantasy of a constantly evolving creature based on who he devourers(Kills)

and most of the assassins don't really hit their thematic fantasy, or their frustration levels are just WAY too high.

It is acceptable, but her entire gameplay is binary as fuck because her entire damage is loaded into getting resets with her ult.

As far as Kha'Zix and Katarina go, you should take a look at the Red comments in the announcement thread. Kha'Zix Katarina

I feel like I have to mention the fact that Rengar is on that list. Rengar goes in, but most likely won't get out...

And Rengar's most famous trick is jumping out of stealth at maximum speed and killing your ADC before you even have a chance to react.

...Let's just say Riot has been rather unhappy with that.

I entirely agree. But that does not change the fact that Rengar does not have an out. Which is what I wanted to mention.

Couldn't agree more. I have 90k mastery on him, and I played him just because I liked his character. He has an awesome fantasy but I despise his gameplay more than I like it. I'm actually REALLY looking forward to the thought of him becoming a Diving Fighter/ Assassin hybrid.

I just wanted to mention it because, in the end of the day, he does not have an out, no matter what way you want to look at it. :P

Actually this is the list of the assassins, that means not all of them are going to get changes. Additionally, assassins are intended to have a safe escape

they are not considered as assassins officially - although that could change. The list is not the final list, and when we get the new client we are able to see the final version

Because Diana was never meant to be an assassin, nor Pantheon to my knowledge. They were supposed to be long drawn out fighters, instead of instakilling people.
