I still think the dragon and herald change was alittle off

The herald change was unnecessary imo (except removing the buff when near allies) because it was already strong in the first place. The Eternal Dragon is a neat change but the rest its so random that it doesnt feel like a proper 'sport' type game. Sports needs consistency, the more RNG the more the game is moving backwards imo. Like how the NBA were in a uproar when the refs basically ruin every close game because of stupid calls instead of having one ref who makes the final call for every game AFTER looking at replays. And then some games refs dont call for ANYTHING... like damn. But even then the NBA is way more consistence than League atm. Like I'm down for changes and everything, but nothing RNG.. you really need to make changes that keep the game in line.

As someone who watches hockey, I think the RNG Drakes are fine. There are so many random factors that are actually in sports that I feel people have simply gotten used to, but if you took it into account, it probably is approximately the same amount of randomness as the dragons. In hockey, the ice can vary in consistency, your stick might break right when you have a good shot, the puck could simply get an unlucky bounce off the post, maybe there was an unlucky bounce off the boards, maybe your skate breaks at a bad time, etc. And this is only hockey, but baseball can take into consideration the position of the sun in a player's eyes and the wind, football can be those plus the weather. The only reason people complain about the dragons is because they big and obvious results of RNG. Wind changes on a dime and weather can too, the sun you can somewhat plan for, but not entirely.

Players can at least know what dragon is coming up right away and formulate a plan based on that, so it doesn't really hurt competitive integrity as much as people think imo.

True I'll give you that, good perspective on the subject btw. For me its just if the game or any sport has less RNG factor the smoother and more enjoyable the game is. But yeah youre right, almost every game has this thing about it thats just random but its not like people enjoy it, they kind of just get waved it off cause its inevitable.
