ok since kog'maw warped on-hit items, revert guinsoos so i can have fun again
that item was so much fun at the beginning of s6. i agree kog'maw fucked that item really hard but now he's back to old (kinda) kog'maw

Are you talking about when it use to have an AoE? No thank you. Kog'maw wasn't the only abuse case with that item.
how many of the former guinsoos users still use rageblade? all i can think of is kayle and teemo.
maybe a few more, onhit abusers are less common then crit abusers.
i've yet to see those use Rageblade
Cause most
go support and usually when they do want to build it the game is over before they can and hit their powerspike
I`ve seen yi and xin build it multiple times...
Xin can get away with it, but the item isn't good on kench or yi.
it is very good on kench, it helps him get stacks faster and he gets MUCH more group fight appearance...why downvote me? Getting 3 stacks from 2 autos which go 64% faster is alot...
I`ve literally been dueling top laners as a
with
or even replacing wits end with
Even dueled a fed late game master yi

It's almost core on Yi.
Well that is because Riot changed the item...
Riot wanted to keep the double hit passive that was on sated devourer, but that together with the AoE rageblade was just too powerful (especially when also coupled with hurricane or hydra). Bruisers like Jax could clear a wave in seconds, then clear you and everyone around you in a teamfight.
Hence rageblade lost the AoE and got the phantom passive instead.
the change seemed like a rather quick change for a very niche item that was bought on champions that mostly did mixed dmg (jax, kog'maw, kayle). instead of slowly changing the item, like they did for youmoos that was used by any AD champion, it was an abrupt change that dumped most who built it in the gutter for a while.
jax isn't a bruiser, he's a fighter. jax doesn't have any wave clear w/o since he doesn't build any hydras and has only 1 aoe ability. he opts to building hextech bunblade and triforce which still don't give him any aoe clears. so how can you say that it was a bad thing giving jax some wave clear.
all i'm saying is that instead of approaching the item slowly and methodically, they just scrapped the update
Jax doesn't have any waveclear now. Old rageblade (which you want to go back to) took care of that particular problem.
Jax is meant to be a good split pusher able to duel and take towers down easily. The price he is suppose to pay for that is poor waveclear. If you are giving him good waveclear while also augmenting his dueling potential and tower damage potential he crowds out top lane and becomes a monster. There is reason why all but one of his abilities is single target damage.
Old rageblade gave Jax everything he wanted: waveclear, AP, AD, attackspeed while synergizing extremely well with his passive (and R passive).
Jax can't have Rageblade but literally half the roster of fighters get hydra that synergies with their kits immensely. OK

Morde, Trind, and TF using it is more of an off-meta build, but I've seen more than a few do it in matches post changes.
I was the best abuser of
though ^^
I build it on vayne + BotRK then go full tank in ARAM, if I manage to reach full build in ARAM it's almost always a win
It was far more than just Kog'Maw that was abusing it, and there are some that still do because of the attack speed added to its base stats.
shhh dont tell anyone but vayne + guinsoos is hidden OP!!! why proc your W every 3 hits when you can pop it every 2?
